He found this particular scent to be inoffensive and it works well with a majority of his summer colognes, especially those with aquatic and ozone notes. Not nearly as artificial smelling as most other fragrances they’ve come out with. And, of course, it works about as well as most other Old Spice antiperspirant. Also, the deodorant aspect wears off in a couple hours. Overall, Timber is easy to apply and smells wonderful, but it is not effective for a man who works outside and/or does manual labor constantly. This scent isn’t as fragrant as other old spice deodorant’s. I wish it didn’t leave such a heavy white chalky residue on my underarm. It does transfer to clothing so be careful. I sweat less but have more body odor. We both found that this was pretty good at masking odor and minimizing sweat. It lasted for around 6-7 hours before needing to reapply. The scent is also pretty pleasant. It's beachy and slightly musky, but not in the typical mens deodorant way and without being overbearing.
