The scent is perfectly balanced. It’s manly enough to feel fresh and confident, but not overpowering or cologne-y. It smells clean, tropical, and just a little rugged, like I’ve been surfing on a volcano (in a good way). My favorite part about it is how dry it keeps me. I have a really physical job and I’m constantly on the move, sweating all day (in the Deep South heat) and this stuff works. I stay dry for hours, even in the worst conditions. And when I go to shower, I don’t feel like I’m scrubbing off a thick layer of residue. It goes on light, stays strong, and doesn’t cake up or feel sticky. We both noticed that the deodorant worked for maybe 3 weeks and then it stopped working on preventing odor. It ended up just masking the smell of body odor and not helping odor after a few weeks. But, I will probably still use this deodorant in rotation with my other options and go back to it. It smells amazing and smells like cologne! I find that normally after a full work day, my armpits and shirts start to smell like BO; however, after using the Old Spice Antiperspirant Deodorant in Fiji, I didn't smell any BO! I liked that it goes on clear and I didn't find it to stain any of my shirts, which is a usual gripe I have with deodorants. I will say that the scent wasn't a huge hit for me personally but I did find that it lasted all day, which was great. He is a larger man and sweats a lot While using this product he said that he enjoyed the tropical scent. He had no smell on his armpits and it did its job, it didn't pill on his armpits and went on smooth. He uses deodorant at least 4x a week and even so, with this deodorant he did not have a problem with smell. He rated this a fairly well especially the scent. I usually apply it in the morning after my shower, and it keeps me feeling fresh throughout the day. The scent is clean and tropical without being overpowering, and it doesn’t clash with my cologne. All deodorants are not created equally. While he is a huge Old Spice fan, he wasn’t sure about the scent when this arrived. It's fresh, tropical, and not overpowering. He's a redhead with sensitive skin, so we're always careful about what he uses, but this hasn't caused any irritation. He's a training store manager at an oil change shop, so he's constantly moving and working around heat. While he does still sweat a bit, he said the odor control is a big improvement, and he doesn't smell nearly as bad by the end of the day. He said it goes on smoothly, doesn't leave white marks on his dark work shirts (which is a big plus!), and holds up through mainly hot shifts, especially when he's training new employees and is up close to them.
