Olfa Precision Applique Scissors 5"

I make a lot of cards and scrapbook pages and love these scissors for fussy cutting! They are small enough to use with ease, you can throw them in your craft bag, and they are sharp and work wonderfully for paper as well as fabric/thread.

I use this marvelous scissors for collaging and they cut very straight, which I did not assume as they are very small. Satisfying open and closing feeling, no weird noises, creeks that make you shiver. And as I learned yesterday, you can take them in your hand luggage on a plane! Perfect for collaging postcards with a wine in a cafe on your weekend trip.

I bought these scissors and side by side with scissors of similar size you can feel the quality difference night and day. These have a nice weight and balance to them and the loops easily fit my hand with room to spare without being sloppy. They are also very sharp and smooth to use!

These work extremely well for cutting out my shapes for fusible appliqué. They are comfortable to hold, and they are still very sharp after about five years of use.

I've been running these scissors in my Wrap Pouch for 3 years. Still dangerously sharp! I use them mostly for relief cuts as well as cutting knifeless, and edge seal tapes. But selected them for their small footprint and precise narrow cutting area. I know a lot of guys who run full size pairs in their kits, but I think this guy fits in well and is awesome to have. Highly recommended!

I was someone who thought that any ol' pair of scissors would get the job done, and while at the end of the day...they usually did, it wasn't without some sticking, cramped fingers, etc. These 5" scissors from OLFA are now my Go-To pair. They stay visible at all times, so I can grab them at a moment's notice for all of my crafting/quilting/office needs. The blade is sharp, the size isn't too big or too small, and the handle fits comfortable on my fingers. These are worth every penny!

I use these scissors for wool applique because they will cut through the thicker fabric and are sharp, right to the point. Perfect for making precise cuts. Love the size and the larger finger holes.

I keep these scissors by my sewing machine and use them daily to trim threads and for an assortment of other uses as I sew and quilt. They are just the right side to tuck away beside my machine, they have stayed sharp and true for my needs, and are another fantastic OLFA product.

When cutting something intricate, these are the scissors to have. Sharp, clean cuts even down to the very tip/points.

I would never pay this price for a small pair of scissors but I took a chance and these are fantastic! I plan to buy more. Even impressed my husband and he doesn't impress easily when it comes to tools. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the products we purchased from Olfa. I ordered from the company which is World Kitchen, LLC in the U.S.. The package or the product must be printed with "Made In Japan" in order to get the real deal. Obviously this company cares about quality. We will order more as we trust that our money is well spent on products from this company.

So far, I have purchased five pairs of these little scissors. I keep one in as many rooms as possible and also in my purse. I will probably purchase more as gifts for family members.

These scissors are so comfortable to use. I like to carry smaller scissors but hate the single finger holes. These are very sharpe too. I will probably get another pair.
