Olive & June Nail Polish - Velvet Pouf - 0.46 fl oz

I love this color! The nail polish itself is easy to apply and not streaky. There’s your two stars. The problem is this nail polish never seems to completely dry. I polished my nails at 2:00 this afternoon, applied two thin coats, let it dry between each (well, I thought I did) and a thin layer of top coat,and they aren’t tacky, but still vulnerable to scuffs over seven hours later. I put a big dent in one of my thumb nails putting dishes in the dishwasher. Then I thought maybe I misread and bought the kind of polish that requires curing with a UV lamp, but I don’t see anything that mentions having to use a UV lamp. Maybe I got a bad one or something? I don’t know but I’m taking it back.

Velvet pouf is such a gorgeous color. A little jelly, builds up opaque. Gorgeous purple.

I go toward the darker shades and this one is cute

Velvet Pouf is a gorgeous cool-toned deep purple. Great for winter and would look awesome paired with a metallic polish as an accent. Photo shows six days of wear (and no chips!) - as with most other O&J polishes, the formula is fab.

I love purple and this one is just the right mixture of moody and flirty.

Such a moody purple. I love it! I also loved it paired with sparkle fairy top coat. Pictures do not do it justice. Can’t go wrong!

As always O&J delivers! Smooth application, lasts me about 7 full days without major chipping. Usually am changing my color way before because there are so many waiting to be worn!

Looks almost black until you get into the light, especially sun light. Then its a stunning shade of purple!

I was worried this would be so dark you couldn’t actually tell it purple, but you absolutely can! Very sophisticated color. I used it in a skittle with Plaza, Biggest Bow and Hot Strawberry…turned out to be one of my ultime favorite combos.

I’m obsessed with purple polishes and this one is the best!! I get so many compliments when I wear it. It’s dark and gives the illusion of “black” but in the right light it’s a gorgeous deep purple. This color is perfect 💜

This is a deeper shade of purple but it's nice you can still tell it's purple (even with three coats)

It's a beautiful color, but totally tore up my nails. They have never peeled before and after using this, they're discolored and peeling like crazy. I watched the videos and followed all instructions. Also only lasts a couple days, not 10

It's been hard to find a good, strong purple polish the last few years that doesn't fall into pastels, plums, or read as off-black because its so dark. This is the perfect color when you want legit purple nails, no question about it. Love it.
