Fringes & Saddle is such a gorgeous deep chocolate brown with just enough red warmth to make it cozy but still super chic. It gives total fall vibes — like a warm latte and leather boots kind of mood. The formula goes on smooth and glossy, and two coats make it look rich and polished. It feels bold but still wearable for everyday. Definitely one of those “cool girl neutral” shades I’ll be reaching for again and again.

The shade is a deep, rich brown that almost looks black in certain lighting — perfect for fall and winter. It gives a very elegant and sophisticated look. The formula is creamy and smooth, and it provides full coverage in just two coats. It dries with a nice glossy finish, even without a top coat. The brush makes application easy, though I recommend applying thin layers to avoid streaks. It’s long-lasting too it held up well for several days without chipping. Overall, it’s a gorgeous, bold shade that adds a classy touch to any look. Definitely one of my new favorites from Essie!

Cute color! Definitely a new staple

I thought it was going to be a dark brown but was pleasantly surprised to be more of a dark red brown almost black when you put two coats on. It would be a lighter brown with just the one but I think it’s personally a color for two coats. Super cute tho! Perfect for the Halloween spooky season.

Wasn’t for me
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually Essie has good nail polishes, but i did not like this one. the application wasn’t smooth at times and dragged the polish. i applied two thin coats and let them dry for 30 mins and they still smudged. Has a very strong polish scent

This shade is a deep, luxurious **chocolate brown** that is anything but boring. It has a beautiful warmth to it that makes it feel earthy and rich, but it still maintains a very creamy, high-gloss finish. It's the perfect polish for the cooler months or whenever I want a manicure that looks instantly chic and expensive. It applies smoothly, usually only needs two coats for a perfectly opaque color, and just feels incredibly rich and autumnal on my nails. It's a statement neutral that always looks polished.

Horribly bubbly
I purchased both save a cowboy and boho rodeo and I swear these are the BUBBLIEST colors I’ve ever purchased from Essie. No matter how long I let coats dry or how thin I apply them, I ALWAYS get bubbles in the coats.
