Not cold for long enough
Sadly, the box doesn't insulate enough, so the ice pack doesn't keep anything cold for longer than an hour.

Thanks for sharing your feedback! The included ice pack is designed to help keep items cooler for longer, but performance can vary depending on what’s packed and the surrounding temperature. For best results, we recommend freezing the ice pack overnight and pairing it with items that start out chilled. Many parents also add a second slim ice pack for extra cooling power.

Quality
I absolutely love the products. This year my son upgraded to the up box and although it’s been used almost daily it’s quality still shows. Only suggestion would be a big enough lunch bag that accommodates the box and a drink or additional snacks.

Design could be better
For this design in particular I am not a fan because a child size spoon or fork cannot fit inside, instead I have resorted to using shipping tape to attach to the outside of the box.

Room for improvements
I’m disappointed the thermos container’s top fell apart and cannot snap back into place. No trauma. The omie box up is in perfect condition. Just pulled apart when I was preparing my daughter’s lunch and tried to shut the thermos. I don’t see an easy option to purchase or replace the top. It should just be able to snap back into place like the other pieces.

My son loves it!
Of my 3 sons, one of them really enjoys a heated lunch. This year, we upgraded his lunchbox to the OmieBox Up, and he’s a huge fan. He loves the “cool look” and I love that he can have hot and cold in the same box. He’s 8 and isn’t eating a TON at lunch, but I think this box should be able to grow with him.

We love our box
I bought this a few months ago and my 4 year old loves it. We take our lunch box everywhere, the parks, theme, parks. Food stays hot, no more cold food for us
