Author Bio
Rebecca Yarros is the #1 New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal bestselling author of over fifteen novels including Fourth Wing and In the Likely Event, with multiple starred Publishers Weekly reviews and a Kirkus Best Book of the Year. She loves military heroes and has been blissfully married to hers for over twenty years. Q: Will my pre-order be delivered by Jan 21st?
A: Preorder only guarantees you get a copy not that you’ll have it by the release date.
submitted byMe - 9 months agoA: Nope! My Iron Flame copy was delivered several days after it dropped, despite the fact I preordered the day it was announced. And, just like that order, despite the fact that I preordered Onyx Storm the very morning it was announced, it’s not expected until January 26th.
submitted byLilly - 9 months agoA: Mine is being delivered from Amazon 1/22! I wasn’t able to get the deluxe edition that early, but I’d rather get the book one day after release than wait for prettier pages. I don’t understand why pre-orders could not have been picked up!

submitted byStopthehate - 9 months agoA: Unfortunately, no. I preordered in July and it still hasn’t shipped and it is release day (January 21st). It says expected delivery a week later on January 27th. Very frustrating. This is not the first pre-order I have received much later than the release date from target. Next time try Barnes and Noble or Amazon for on time delivery of pre orders.

Q: So what exactly is the difference between this one and the target exclusive one ? I'm debating which to buy on release day!
A: This one only has sprayed edges and exclusive special design features, while the target exclusive has different sprayed edges, a black bookmark ribbon, colorful endpaper, and color artwork throughout the book!
submitted byKarina - 9 months agoA: This one is the standard deluxe with the sprayed edges (think 1st print of Fourth Wing and Iron Flame). The Target one has different sprayed edges; the title color is different, and it has a bookmark ribbon, colored endpapers, and character work throughout the book.
submitted byKayla03 - 9 months agoA: The story is the same. No bonus chapters in either one. This version has the 5 dragons on the edge and that’s all that’s special about it. The target exclusive has the one dragon on the edge, ribbon bookmark, colored map, and 5 pages of artwork throughout the book.

Q: Will there be Target stickers on this cover? Id prefer a clean copy since its a special limited edition

submitted byDaniGirl - 10 months agoA: I have also found that taking a hair dryer to the sticker in short bursts loosens the tackiness of the sticker for easier removal. This works for pretty much any sticker.

Q: Why do we wait when preorder. We get them later than the release day..
A: My theory is it has to do with gauging the number of copies to be printed…

Q: How many character will be dying in this book? And how many of them are good or bad characters?
A: Don’t get too connected to any one character. One minute they’re there, and the next, they fall off a cliff and die (or do they…???)

A: Yup. Regardless where you buy from, if you meet her when she’s signing, she’ll sign whatever books you ask

Q: Will the bonus content be available for the hardback or is it only available for the paperback version?
A: Bonus content is always on her website. I know that it will be in her hardback version but not sure about paperback.
