Great quinoa!
Normally I purchase the white quinoa. Needed some fast and purchased the rainbow blend on a whelm and I must say it tastes just as good.

Sticky and clumped together. I usually make mine in a rice cooker, I’ll stick with Trader Joe’s brand as it comes out perfect every time.

Flexible taste
Surprisingly good. It smells like bugs, but it gets better after rinsing and cooking. I eat this as a maim course with olive oil, herbs, and spices. I find that brown rice is harder to season it doesn't absorb flavor like quinoa. The rainbow blend tastes better imo. I implement quinoa into my diet specifically for acquiring essential amino acids.

it’s good
I don't cook with a lot of quinoa but I know some of it has kind of a super earthy taste. This does not and works well in my sweet potato salad. No complaints.

VERSATILE & COOKS BEAUTIFULLY
IMO, tri-color quinoa is the best choice. It seems to cook better than the regular beige quinoa, that is: it doesn't clump. I love it for the color, too. I use quinoa in so many things, it's impossible to list. Meatloaf (cook the quinoa first), quinoa fritters (with shredded veggies), "fried rice" style quinoa -- those are my top 3 right now! I wish only that the price was a little less (or the package larger). But it comes with the times, I guess. It's a quality product! I'm looking forward to making a quinoa "rice pudding" with it soon!

Tastes like dirt even after rinsing
I had to get the rainbow quinoa since the ‘normal/off white’ kind was out of stock. I washed it and cooked how I normally make quinoa and added what I usually do and it tasted very much like dirt.
