Oribe Shampoo for Moisture & Control, 8.5 oz

I’ve specifically been using the Oribe Moisture and Control shampoo for a few years now and I have to say, this is the BEST shampoo i’ve ever used. It truly does leave your hair feeling so soft, moisturized and revitalized. Some of the other Oribe shampoos dry out my hair. This is hands down the best one of all of the Oribe shampoos

Thick formula. Effective cleanser. You don’t need a lot of shampoo.

I have only washed my hair a few times since this has arrived and I love how moisturized my hair feels after using the shampoo and conditioner set. I now want to look into getting the hair masque. For reference I have type 4 coily hair, fine strands, and medium density.

I don't normally give 5 star reviews, since there's usually something to improve. But seriously, as a Type 2b-3b mixed curl pattern, it's hard to find to products which address the moisture I desperately need for my very dark squiggly coils, yet not weigh down my wavy pieces mixed in. Since switching to the this line, Shampoo and Conditioner I truly see a difference on the halo of frizz I used to always see on the top of my head and my curls feel deeply hydrated, like they took a drink of water. It's VERY unique. Also 5/5 for the fragrance! Not too much, not too little. It's there, but it's soft, and smells like a nice perfume. No heavy, pungent notes that give you a headache. I am SO impressed :) <3

Another product where the scent is really beautiful and lasts for days! The shampoo lathers easily and I do not need a lot of product like I normally do which is great - I'm hopeful it will last much longer than other products I've used. The shampoo is a pearly golden color and is has a semi-loose gel feel, paired with the matching conditioner I have seen a visible difference in my hair texture and it's ability to retain moisture. I live in a very dry climate and my hair has been directly impacted - it's lost a lot of its shine and just felt like straw, since starting the use of this Oribe line, my hair is soft again, it smells amazing, and it's regaining shine, I'm very happy I invested in this hair care product.

I see peoples' concerns about this product not really 'foaming up', not getting their hair clean, or having to use copious amounts of it to make it feel like it's working - have you ever considered you just have incredibly hard water? I'll be honest, I had the same experience when I lived in south Philly and didn't have a shower filter, but now I use one and can very easily get suds going with a quarter sized dollop of this shampoo. Very rarely will I need to do a second wash - that's typically reserved for the once-a-month deep wash that precedes a deep conditioning treatment. But with just a single wash my hair is completely clean. Y'all just need better water!

Wonderful shampoo. Very concentrated! Use a small amount for a lot of soft lather. I bought shampoo conditioner and mask and these products changed my hair.

Is it normal for this shampoo not to foam? I had other bottles and it foamed and my hair felt great. This current bottle has zero foam

I love this combo shampoo and conditioner! The only thing that got me through Florida during summer months. I wish it came on the 33.8oz pump bottle presentation. I would buy them all!

Nice shampoo leaves hair clean and manageable. Not a lot of bubbles more sudsy. Works well on my fine curly wavy hair. Tames the frizz helps define curl better without weight

I have been using this shampoo for 2 years now and am never going back. Its the best thing for my colored, dry, thick, curly hair. Absolutely amazing product. I wash my hair only once a week and may twice if in dire need. And this shampoo does such a good job of keeping them clean and healthy.

I don’t like how my hair feels after using this shampoo. It’s like there is something left on my hair that I can’t rinse out.

Just tried my mother's bottle of this and WOW. My extremely thick, 1C hair is soft and manageable. It doesn't leave a residue so washing twice a week is A-OK, unlike other smoothing shampoos. It also smells great! Very happy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a fantastic shampoo on its own and does a great job cleansing the scalp, but paired with the conditioner I thought it was too much moisture. I would suggest just using conditioner on the ends when using this product!
