Q: You say this isn't toxic, but the first ingredient listed is isopropyl alcohol! Explain to me how that's not toxic? I'm also not seeing an age recommendation on this listing.
A: Hi there! If you have any concerns, we recommend consulting with your doctor or physcian before use to determine if this product is safe for you specifically. Thanks!
submitted byhealthguru - 7 months agoA: Isopropyl alcohol is used as a solvent/liquid in many products including this one it dries quickly and evaporates. Unless you drink it out of the bottle you would not be consuming any isopropyl alcohol as it would be evaporated out by the time the product is dry on the nail

Q: Is it breathable nail polish??
A: your nails dont breathe, so no
submitted byzzz - 5 years agoA: Hi there, this Not Bite deterrent is not a nail lacquer nor is it Breathable. Our Breathable line of polishes is clearly labeled with "Breathable" across the bottle of lacquer. Hope this helps!

Q: If I prepare food Does that will be affected by nail polish?? & if I feed my daughter with my hand, Does she taste it??
A: It's guaranteed your baby would taste the product if any food came into contact with it. I can taste it if food brushes my fingernails even for a second. It's extremely bitter and unpleasant. It's also very effective as a biting deterrent, so maybe use a spoon to feed your child if you're serious about not biting your nails.
submitted byYall - 4 years agoA: Hi there! This should not change the taste of the food, but it’s possible if you're spending a lot of time with your hands submerged in foots (hand mixing items, for example) it may have an effect. If you're feeding your daughter by hand and a finger nail physically enters her mouth, she will certainly taste it! We hope this helps!

Q: IS THIS SHINY? Why does it seem nearly impossible to find a product like this that is not shiny. I DO NOT WANT SOMETHING THAT HAS A SHINE TO IT.
A: Hi there. Please know that this product does have a very subtle shine. There are great images in the reviews for you to reference. Thanks!

Q: My daughter bites her skin on her thumb where her knuckle is, would this work to stop her biting her finger if I applied directly on her skin?
A: Hello! While this product was developed specifically for the nail, it should have the same effect on skin as it's a taste-based deterrent. It has not been formally tested for this purpose, though.
