Q: how do i remove it? i noticed that it burns my eyes when washing my face, and i tried removing with nail polish remover but didnt work. what do i do?

submitted by Khadija - 3 months ago
  • A: Hello Khadija, thank you for your message. You can use our soy based nail polish remover or acetone to remove the no more biting treatment. It removes just like our other nail care and nail polish. We would strongly recommend to wait until your nail care or polish is completely dry before using your hands. Please keep us posted.

Very effective bitter polish

This is by far the most awful tasting and longest lasting bitter nail polish I have tried. Sinful Colors wasn't gross enough and I tried another cheap brand but still ended up biting my nails. As of today, it has been a year and a half since I (habitually) but my nails. I do occasionally still get the urge to bite but this polish helps remind me not to. My sister jokingly bit my finger one day and barely touched her lip to one of my nails and she had that nasty taste in her mouth for a while. I have barely put a dent into the bottle so I believe it will last for a very long time. REMINDER not to use on small children whose brains are not able to process impulse control yet. It is cruel to punish a little one with this awful taste when they don't fully comprehend what they're doing.

I would say it does what it is supposed to, my 3 year old has become a nail biter, chewing them to stubs, I put it on her today, made sure it dried (it does stay a little sticky) and as soon as she tried to chew a finger nail, got a taste of it, she gagged and threw up! 🥴 we will continue to use it sparingly, I’m sure she will learn to keep her fingers out of her mouth now, poor kid!

This is working okay so far for my 2.5 year old. She wants to stop sucking her thumb and loves her nails painted so she hasn’t fought it. But at night I guess she decides the taste doesn’t bother her enough and still sucking her thumb. It’s been just 4 days and I do plan to continue use and see what happens. She has not thrown up like many reviewers mentioned with other products. It’s bitter, but not nauseating, so I don’t feel bad about trying this.

I Like My Water Cold - 1 month ago
It definitely keeps your fingers out of your mouth, but it also gets all over your hands, your lips, your straw, finger foods, anything you touch. And the taste is beyond awful. It would be effective if it stayed just on my nails, but no, it infiltrates everywhere and IT WILL NOT COME OFF. I’ve tried nail polish remover (multiple times), scrubbing my hands with exfoliating soap, hand sanitizer and NOTHING works.

I used this a few years ago after biting my nails for over 40 years. This stuff seriously works. It doesn't wash off so it persists for days and days. If you put your fingers in your mouth the taste of the formula is so foul it actually taints your ability to taste your food. Highly, highly recommend because I still don't bite my nails.

Effective, but everything you touch tastes like it. So finger foods are out while wearing this stuff. I’m hopeful my 4 year old will stop biting because I’m desperate. He’s chewed them completely down but doesn’t like the taste of this. Warning: if you’re a nursing person don’t let your kid paint your nails because getting a newborn to latch is difficult enough without transferring this stuff to yourself while trying to get the baby to latch if you get my drift. Even ethanol doesn’t take it completely off

It definitely works. I have been a nail biter for years and this has been the only thing that has prevented me from biting. The taste is absolutely horrible which is why it works. I haven’t noticed a problem with tasting it when I eat with my fingers as other reviewers said. I guess if you lick your fingers it would be bothersome but I don’t so I haven’t noticed any problem. The only con I’ve found is when I put in or take out my retainer or when I floss, the taste is definitely there and bothersome. Other than that, it’s a pretty good product so far and I’d recommend it for nail biters!

When your child or even adult has an issue biting your nails, this product will stop them, only issue is you can’t eat anything with your hands at all. If your mouth or food touch your nails it will bring the gross taste into your mouth. A little excessive, but my child no longer bites her nails in fear of having to put this on her nails again.

I bought this for my almost 4 years year old daughter as she has been sucking get thumb since she was in my womb! First she would suck her thumb only when she was tired, during the nap and at night. But once she turned 4years old she would start sucking her thumb during the day as well. Her front right tooth started to come forward ( not a very nice look for lovely little girl). My husband and I have tried everything. And I mean every method in the book. Nothing worked. I was about to give up. Then I purchased this. It took, wait for it… 2 days!!! 2 !! Incredible!! No more thumb sucking!!!!!!! I do put it on in the mid day just in case but since day 2 I have not seen my daughter sucking on her thumb anymore. If you have same problem or problem with kiddos biting their nails. You should try this product. It is a miracle in a bottle!!! Absolutely amazing.
