Q: You say this isn't toxic, but the first ingredient listed is isopropyl alcohol! Explain to me how that's not toxic? I'm also not seeing an age recommendation on this listing.

  • A: Hi there! If you have any concerns, we recommend consulting with your doctor or physcian before use to determine if this product is safe for you specifically. Thanks!

  • A: Isopropyl alcohol is used as a solvent/liquid in many products including this one it dries quickly and evaporates. Unless you drink it out of the bottle you would not be consuming any isopropyl alcohol as it would be evaporated out by the time the product is dry on the nail

Q: Is it breathable nail polish??

submitted by safa - 6 years ago
  • A: Hi there, this Not Bite deterrent is not a nail lacquer nor is it Breathable. Our Breathable line of polishes is clearly labeled with "Breathable" across the bottle of lacquer. Hope this helps!

Q: If I prepare food Does that will be affected by nail polish?? & if I feed my daughter with my hand, Does she taste it??

submitted by safa - 6 years ago
  • A: It's guaranteed your baby would taste the product if any food came into contact with it. I can taste it if food brushes my fingernails even for a second. It's extremely bitter and unpleasant. It's also very effective as a biting deterrent, so maybe use a spoon to feed your child if you're serious about not biting your nails.

  • A: Hi there! This should not change the taste of the food, but it’s possible if you're spending a lot of time with your hands submerged in foots (hand mixing items, for example) it may have an effect. If you're feeding your daughter by hand and a finger nail physically enters her mouth, she will certainly taste it! We hope this helps!

Q: My granddaughter put this on my finger nails. I cannot pick up anything to eat without tasting this nasty stuff on my food. It does not come off with soap and water. What can I use to remove it??

submitted by Sher - 1 year ago
  • A: Hi there, this sounds like a case of a product working too well. It’s designed to help people break the habit of nail biting by having a bitter but harmless taste. Apply some polish remover with a cotton swab and that should do the trick! Hope that helps!
