I love the flat design of the built in Pop Socket and the fact that it won't come off. I love having the ability to change the cover design as well. The only negative I have found is that my phone is NOT as secure in my Pop Socket brand stick on car mount. My old pop socket would snap in and felt secure. This design doesn't allow that same secure mounting.

Bought it because of color. Case is okay. Pop out part keeps coming out. Can't use wireless charger anymore. Otter is a good case, just not crazy about this pop thing. Was expensive.

I’m a snob - totally admit it. I used to have a “Kate Spade” only policy. :) I purchased this cover after paying over 1K for a new phone I am determined to keep it as protected as I can. So, in addition to the screen protector I decided to try out the OtterBox case. I LOVE IT! It’s sturdy and you can just tell it is quality. I also decided to purchase a cover for my IPad which has basically made the thing indestructible! Thanks OtterBox - great product!!!

This case is not what I was hoping it would be. The pop socket is horrible. It is always falling off. And it isn’t strong enough to hold my phone up. It always falls over when I’m using it to watch something. Definitely not worth the price I paid for it.

While using that OtterBox as a stand, we usually suggest pulling the PopTop all the way out then angling one side up. This allows you to use the side that's still popped out as the stand for your phone. Additionally, we recommend having the camera-side of your phone down and close to the stable surface. I love how protective this case is. My sole complaint is I turn my phone sound off every night so getting my fat finger into the side where you push down the button to turn off the sound is a pain. Otherwise, GREAT case.

It’s an absolutely awesome case and I couldn’t be more happy with it. Even being a Defender case, it’s not bulky at all. It’s almost as slim as the Otterbox Symmetry +Pop case I had previously! This was recommended to me by my brother, I had always had cheap phone cases. This is a game changer in phone cases ... I will never buy a cheap brand again. This is fabulous you protect with a hard plastic shell that snaps together then a thick plastic cover which all snaps together, I also got their screen protector and this was different to the quality of others .. no peeling a bit of thin plastic on a sheet and hope for no bubbles. You get a frame to ensure protector is fitted correctly and cleaning cloth to remove any grease.. it’s worth the extra money... do not doubt and think buying a knock off version is the same... it’s not the quality is far superior...

The quality of the Otter box is great. My issue is that because the Pop Socket is recessed my finger rides much higher on the Pop Socket than a regular Pop Socket and the plastic lip at the top of the Pop Socket hurts my finger. Not happy with this design. It needs to be changed.

Having to remove the pop to wireless charge my iPhone on my pad is a hassle. The pop idea is a good one. I just don't think it's a good fit for phones with wireless charging.

Bought this because I was hoping the popsocket would work as a horizontal and vertical stand and make the phone easier to handle. It works ok as a horizontal stand but collapses when trying to use it as a vertical stand. Also the case on my iPhone 10s Max makes it too large to hold well in one hand. So I returned the case. Build quality is good so if you have big hands and like popsockets than this is the case for you.

Defender with pod fail

I bought this for my iPhone 10s max. The placement of the pod would not work to prop the phone up with landscape or portrait. The pod was comfortable holding, but I wanted something to prop up the phone and this did not work.
