I have used Otterbox cases for years and have always found them to be well-made and sturdy. I got this case in December of last year and by June it was starting to fall apart. The edge of the case peeled away from the back and slowly got worse over time. The case was discounted at $15 when I bought it. If I had paid $50 or more I would have been furious. No better than a cheap $5 case you can buy off a street vendor.

This case didn’t protect my husband’s phone AT ALL. Minor drop - so minor he has no idea of the when/how - but the back of his phone is shattered. We only discovered this because, after just only over a year of use, the case itself started falling apart. When he took the case off the phone, he saw the back of it was destroyed. He is not rough with his phone, there is no reason either of us can fathom that would cause the back of his phone to shatter, especially with an Otterbox case on it. Do not recommend. Spend your money on a different case. This is his 5th iphone, all had Otterbox cases and all have been great except this one.

It’s cute and seems sturdy. The top corners so slip a little and I end up pushing my phone back into the case about once or twice a week. Maybe it’s my phone maybe it’s the case.

I have used Otterbox cases since 2019 and have never broken my phone. I've dropped my two phones I've had over the past 6 years more times than I could possibly count but not once have either of them cracked. At that point, I have no choice but to be loyal

Extremely unhappy with this phone case! Wish I had seen reviews before purchasing. As with many others, the back of my phone was shattered when it fell onto the floor from what I considered a low height. Didn't even check to see if it was damaged, but discovered the back of the phone was shattered when I removed the cover later to clean the phone. As every iPhone owner knows, repairs for this are astronomical. Also, as others have mentioned, the case has separated at the seams which lessens the protection immensely. Should have purchased a different case that had better protection reviews. Otterbox is definitely not in that category!

This case offers zero protection. I have had 2 cracked back glasses in a 45 day period. Definitely not the quality you would expect from Otterbox. Save you money and purchase a different case.

I have always used Otterbox and have protected my pricey iPhones with them in the past. After the whole back of my phone shattered without any major incident, I came here and saw reviews with photos that look exactly like the back of my phone. What’s the purpose of paying extra for a “reliable” case when I’ll now be covering repairs. Wish my case could have protected my phone better. Won’t be purchasing Otter again.

Got the strawberry one, because it was absolutely adorable! I’m clumsy, so I drop my phone a lot. I assumed that in protecting my phone, the case would also hold up but that wasn’t the case. Had the case for about 4 months and it’s at the point where it’s broken and shattered.
