Very Misleading — Not an iPad!
I bought the OtterBox Kids' Easy Grab iPad (8th/7th Gen) thinking it was an actual iPad because of the way it’s titled and shown online. The name makes it sound like you’re buying the device itself, not just the case. When it arrived, it turned out to be only the case. Very disappointing and confusing product listing. Target should make it much clearer that this is just a case, not the iPad.

Too small
I bought this for my son’s first iPad. The product specifications said it would fit a ninth generation iPad 10.2 inch screen. There is no way this 9th gen. iPad will fit in the case. Will be returning for a refund.

The stand/handle will not stay on.
The case itself is nice, but he has only been using it for 10 days and the stand will not stay on. It no longer snaps into place and falls off under the weight of the iPad. Maybe this one is defective, but as it is one of the main selling features doesn’t work as expected.

Limited usability
Solid case, the iPad is very protected. However, the giant knob on the back prevents the iPad from lying flat, which is frustrating when trying to draw, it’s also locked to landscape view which limits what games can be played. Some games are meant to be played in portrait. Specifically Mario, but there are others.

Poor design
Purchased 2 of these cases for my boys. One of the iPads dropped from our couch onto the foam mat in the playroom. It must have landed on the know and completely shattered the screen.

Perfect for Aging adults
I'm an aging adult with nerve issues. And this case is perfect for me it does everything it says it does. It has protected my iPad numerous times from drops. Built in handle is very convenient for carrying.

Not kid friendly
I bought this case as an upgrade from the foam kids case that was roughly 1/4 of the price. Both my daughters got the same case and both of them now have shattered screens. I’m not sure how we went 2 years without cracking the screen using $20 cases. But I’m very disappointed I switched to the otter box.

Could stand better
Sturdy case but doesn’t stand up as well as it should. Seems more intended for hanging off the head rest in your car for watching in the back seats. Also strange it didn’t come with instructions for how to open and put it on. I ended up watching a YouTube video

Its not worth it. The handle falls off and you may drop the device.
I bought this purely for the Otterbox reputation. I’m sorry I didn’t return it right away. The case itself is very durable, and so far protects the iPad from drops. But I HATE that the stand does not lock into place. Most of the time when the iPad falls, it’s bc the handle came off the cover while being carried. The handle is suppose to fit nicely on the back of a headrest, but this has to bend and contort to fit on a Suburu Outback, then it’s too far away for my kid to reach with his hands so he ends up wanting to hold it anyway. You can’t really leave the stand off bc then there is a giant post coming out of the back of it that is awkward to hold.

DO NOT BUY! Kid dropped iPad, it landed on the back knob handle and the entire frame of the iPad bent and the screen completely shattered. It must have been how the iPad landed because it only dropped about 3 feet. Now we have to completely replace the iPad due to this design flaw. Super disappointed.

Stand doesnt last long
Case is nice and durable so far! What I don’t like about the case it doesn’t have a screen protector while you’ll have to buy separate and also the stand just falls off .. I brought it because I like the idea of it fitting on the head rest. The stand just falls off no matter what . I don’t have the case over 6 months and the stand already doesn’t stand 🤷🏾♀️

Kids case, really?
I needed a new case and wanted a different style than the one I had previously. This was a different enough design and even thought it was in the kids section, it was a color I like and felt confident as an adult I could use. Turns out the feature used to stand it up on my counter works better than the previous case I had, and it is a material that won't break easy!

Overpriced...quality issues
Overpriced and not durable. Doesn’t live up to Otterbox name and not the quality they’ve been known for. Stand never functioned properly. Poor design on it couldn’t keep the iPad propped up as touted. Now less than a year later, the stand can’t attach securely to back post so it’s basically a cover with a post sticking out the back that serves no purpose. Too bad…we bought it thinking it was durable for a kiddo.

Not worth the money
Awkward case with the knob on the back. Does not fit around vehicle headrest handles. Also the 4 corners are very sharp and almost pointed inward, so I can see why iPads cracked. Gray back piece will not last and isn’t very bendable Do not recommend at all.

Great case with a needed update.
I love the overall case especially the stand that doubles as a headrest attachment. However, I do not like that it does not have a cover over the screen. My Otterbox has a clear cover over the screen making me feel it is truly protected. I ordered a screen protector because I don't trust my child not to break the screen even with the Otterbox cover.
