I see that Otterbox customer service is working overtime with all these pictures. Like others, the backglass of my phone shattered with a short fall. The drawback with this design is that is the back is not protected. Unfortunately, the quality of otterbox cases aren't like they use to be. Not only did my phone crack within the first few days with this case, but the rim of this case discolored and detached.

My phone has literally flown out of two car windows - two completely different instances - both over 40 mph. My screen protector barley cracked in the corner. The case itself doesn’t have a scratch. I thought for sure my phone was shattered the second time. Otter box saved me $1,000+

Love the color of the case. But the sides turn colors even without putting your phone in a purse or pocket. So disappointing.

Bought a new IPhone 14 pro and otter box to go with it. Had it less than a week, dropped it out of my pocket and the back completely shattered while in this case. Now I have to spend a good chunk to replace the back of the phone. Would not recommend this product.

I had a otterbox on my iphone 11 and iphone 12. and it did its job. But on my brand new iphone 14 pro max it cracked the backside while beeing in the case, the drop was not longe than 20-30cm

From the moment, I saw the color of the case, I really love it. I have owned this case for 6 days and have been so disappointed. The case has turned yellow/brown on the sides of the case. I tried to clean the case and nothing has worked. I wish I would have read some of the reviews and not purchase the case.

Worst Purchase-Phone Shattered 2x

This case has not protected my phone. I have never broken my personal phone EVER. I've had an Iphone and Otterbox cases for every last one of them since 2007 and I have never broken my phone until by this case. I bought the case that includes the Mag Safe circle in the back, it was the only case available at the time of my purchase. In January of this year, one day I turned over my phone and noticed it was broken and it didn't have a bad drop. I paid to get it fixed. Fast forward to today, May 12, 2023 my phone slid off my dinner table and is now terribly cracked. The picture for the distance is also attached. I also see the case is out of stock and can't be replaced once I take the phone in to get replaced again. This is no easy process because everything must be transferred over to a brand new phone at Apple because the back glass isn't just physical damage it requires full replacement. I'm very upset because I'm a very careful phone user, I've been a journalist going on 14 years and I've worked in hurricanes, fire scenes, and all sorts of chaotic scenes of my news stories and NEVER shattered my phone. This is ridiculous and costing me more money for a phone I just purchased September 22, 2023. You can see my receipt from the first repair and replacement on January 24, 2023 and now pictures from today May 12th. I'm not hard on my phones, I still have all of my iPhones because I don't turn them in, I prefer to keep them which have all been preserved with an Otterbox case until now. Two times is ridiculous! What case is out there to keep this from happening again? Please Customer Service explain, I used to love you all which is why I was a recurring customer but now, I'm spending more money on a phone I just paid a bunch for. Thankfully insurance covers the bulk of the expense, but it's unfair to keep going through this process.

I like the look and feel of this case, but the back of my phone cracked while in the case. The front touch screen did not crack, but the back did inside the case. So if your going for look and feel I give it 5 stars, if you want your phone protected, 1 star.

I have been very happy with previous Otterbox cases, but I am sad to say that I am disappointed with this case. It doesn’t fit my iPhone 14 Pro Max correctly, so the sides shift and the edges of the phone pop out of the case. It also doesn’t have as much sparkle as the same case that I had on my iPhone 8. You can barely see the stardust.

I am extremely disappointed with my case. I have used otter box cases for years and decided to try the clear case on my new iPhone 14 pro max. The phone is purple and I wanted to be able to see the purple color however, the sides and edges of the case have turned a yellowish brown color in less than a month. Not sure I will continue to use otter box products.
