Hi ECG - Thank you for sharing your experience with your Our Generation Iris doll. We are happy to share that there is a way to care for the doll's hair to keep it smooth and untangled. We hope these instructions help. How To Brush Our Hair: 1. For the best results, it is recommended to use a wire brush. 2. Divide my hair into small sections and gently brush them one at a time. Make sure to brush out the tangles starting from the bottom of my hair and then moving up. 3. Mist my hair lightly with water from a spray bottle if you are having a hard time detangling it. 4. If I have wavy hair, be very gentle when brushing the ends to help preserve my curls. 5. For tight curls, finger style my hair. Separate a small section of my hair and work your fingers through it, twirling as you go. 6. For braided styles, tightly braiding my hair while damp will help control frizzy ends. 7. Avoid using styling products like gel or mousse, as this may damage my hair. 8. Avoid using a blow dryer, hot rollers, curling or straightening iron on my hair. 9. Always keep my hair away from extreme heat.

I love how well they are made and the clothing is well made too - and perfect for little hands to be able to change them out. This unicorn outfit is really cute and our little one loves taking her everywhere with us.

Just Lovely
Iris is a darling whimsical little fairy. We've added the Tooth Fairy Costume's wings and the effect is delightful. She is as pictured in the listing, but with slightly more pink in her hair, as can be seen n the photo. Her face and expression are full of personality and the rainbow on her cheek is actually very special. Her eyes are probably a very pale lavender but they tend to appear more grey. I love her rainbow dress. She was shipped quickly and arrived safely. The Our Generations are the cutest faces in the 18 inch doll line in my opinion (including the more expensive dolls) and this one is truly inspired. She's a work of art.
