Q: can the dolls actually sit on the horse?

A: Hi char. All of the Our Generation dolls have arms/legs that rotate at the hips, shoulders and neck. Our posable dolls can sit on the horse and their knees can be bent for a better seated fit. The non-posable dolls can straddle the horse. Thank you. The Battat Team

Hasn't even been played with and there's already so many scratches and scuff marks. I would definitely recommend spraying an acrylic clear coat on if you want it to hold up for more than a day of play. Between getting it out of the box and brushing the hair out, it's already banged up

My child loved the horse. It is sturdy enough for her to sit on it. She loves brushing the hair. The only recommendation I have. Is look into making it easier to remove the plastic on the horses hair.

My 4 year old got this for Christmas 2023 (today is 1-1-25) and she is STILL playing with it. It’s been her favorite for over a year. She even has an AG one too, but honestly prefers this one. I think the plastic feels a little cheap, but the eyes are realistic. We had to zip tie the reins onto the halter after the plastic hang tags broke, but other than that she’s been very happy with it.

9th bday gift for an American Girl doll lover that recently took horseback riding lessons and this is an impressive sized horse and she loved all the accessories ... and, of course, brushing and braiding it's mane and tail. Wish an English saddle option was offered but still a great toy!

It came just in time for her birthday and she fell in love. She braided the mane and was so proud as it was her first time doing a braid.
