This birthday set was really cute. I love the details that were put into everything. My daughter absolutely loved this. My only complaint was that the balloons were not glued properly so they all detached from the sticks. It was an easy fix with some super glue. I would definitely recommend this for your kids.

Cute but too expensive for the quality of the items
We love Our Generation, but this set has some room for improvement. The balloons all snapped off of the "strings" within a day of play. They are a brittle white plastic that cannot be fixed or glued back to together. Target please consider making these a more bendable material that have some give. The gift bag is a thin paper that both of the handles ripped off of within a day of play as well. The cardboard hats days are numbered as well. Considering the quality of half the items I think this item is overpriced for what it is. The refreshments like the cake, chocolate fountain, desert skewers and such are adorable and good quality though!

Daughter was happy, but improvements could be made.
Pretty great! The three issues I had are 1. The balloons are so top heavy that there is no good way to position them anywhere. 2. The chocolate fondu machine appears to be electronic (it has a big “on” button) but it isn’t. Would have been cool if it made some sort of liquid chocolate noise. 3. For the prices $25, I would have preferred the party hat to be made of fabric for longer use. We purchased a cheaper birthday outfit for one of our 14” dolls on Amazon that included a wonderfully made fabric birthday hat.

Could be better
We buy many OG sets and find them to be a good value for the quality. This set however is a little disappointing. The balloons broke within the week. They are extremely fragile and my daughter was very upset. I tried super glueing the sticks back on but it didn’t last. The gift bag is also easily ruined. The rest of the pieces were good. I would say this set is very much overpriced for what you get.

We bought this from Santa for our 5 year old, so we haven’t opened the package yet, but it looks so cute and I know she will love it. The only issue is that the invitation to the birthday party appears to be in French. Anyone who has this - is it French on one side English on the other? I see another reviewer included a picture and their invitation is in French as well. The picture on Target.com and the Our Generation website has the invitation on English.

A Must Have Our Generation Set!

She loves throwing parties for her 18" doll, so needless to say, when we gave her this set during Spring Break, she flipped and there have been birthday parties galore! The set comes with everything a child could possibly want to help their doll throw a grand birthday celebration and all the pieces in the set is extremely well made.
