Q: Does this pan need to be seasoned between uses?

A: I don't. I do make sue is clean. After preheating,I add just a bit, but don't even always do that if I'm searing things. Oh, and the dark parts after scrubbing. "Deglaze"them, per directions. Haven't had anything not come out yet.

The pan cleaned up so nice w just soap and water. . . In my picture, the one on the right is my Our Place pan and the one in the left is another high end brand that was cleaned w baking soda. I will be replacing my current set w Our Place.

Eggs slid right out of the pan and the chicken browned right up and both times the pan came clean with minimal effort. Very happy with our purchase. Next up, pan seared rib eye.

This is a photo after a recent use and wash - cleaning this pan is a pain in the but! I much prefer the ceramic pans from Our Place. Would not buy again.

I had tried other pans that did not have non stick coating but I didn't enjoy cooking with them. I went back to Teflon but had that unease about getting subtle toxins in my food. I was excited to try this pan and it didn't disappoint. I enjoy cooking with it and the food tastes great and doesn't stick without having to use a ton of oil! I liked it so much I went ahead and ordered the minis.

I'm trying to move away from oils and have been successfully using water in my cast iron pans, but this pan sounded like a lighter, smarter solution. I don't dislike it enough to send it back, but wish they could have been more clear in their description about its requirements to be non-stick.
