Q: Can you cover the sliping hole or dose it spill

A: As long as you slide the cover completely over the drinking hole, it's pretty spill proof. It is a little difficult to close, though. There is not a satisfying click or anything, you just have to make sure it's closed tightly.

A: That is a great question. The tumbler straw can handle hot drinks, but we recommend using caution when doing so. We recommend using warm to hot water, and never letting it get to a scalding temperature. A: The 24oz Stainless Steel Straw Tumbler is splash resistant which means when upright it will guard against liquids splashing around. While it’s remarkably leak-resistant, we expect some leaking to occur if it is tipped on its side. A: That's an excellent question. Our lids are not designed to be interchangeable. Doing so is either impossible, or it will degrade the performance of your bottle leading to a poorly fitting lid or leaking around the threading. Q: What is the purpose of the small piece attached to the straw? I thought it is supposed to go inside the cup to prevent the straw from sliding out, but it’s always shown on the outside, wondering if I’m missing something haha.

I expected more from Owala but now Ive learned about their quality standards
I thought the design idea was clever so I got one and when I got home I realized it doesn’t sit flat on any flat surface- it wobbles back and forth and feels unstable. I reached out to customer service and sent them a video and they responded to tell me it’s normal for it to do this. So be warned. I expected more from Owala. It doesn’t look dented and has no signs of being dropped. I’ll be returning this $30 piece of junk to the store.

Shipped 3 separate times with no straw
I’ve bought three of these from Target and everytime they ship it to me without a straw and I have to return it. I don’t understand how nobody catches this and keeps shipping them out. Moldy and no replacement options
I have two of these and the gaskets on both tops got moldy and despite following all of Owala's suggestions and some more from Reddit Owala users, it would not come off. There are no replacement options to purchase even via a dupe on Amazon. Their customer service said mold was an inherent risk and would not send me other gaskets and didn't have an option to purchase others.
