Owala FreeSip Sway Stainless Water Bottle

i love owala!!

I love this water bottle.

Perfect water bottle, 40 oz is awesome, fits cup holders, locks so there is no leak!

Inside started to rust (around where the lid meets the rim). It’s too bad, I loved the design but I don’t know why the Sway has a rust problem when the FreeSips don’t.

Love this water bottle and the design, very clever 2 ways to drink, I like this more because the straw doesn't get in the way like my Stanley. Definitely convient and functional. Just gotta be careful with young kids when the lid is open it could spill if the water is too full and my youngest titled it too much. My mom saw us using it and had to get one for herself.

I have had my smaller Owalas for at least 5 years, since before they were cool and nobody even heard of Owala! They are still kicking but I wanted a larger capacity bottle. I got this one at the 20% off sale and I love it! I especially love the bigger handle compared to my 24oz bottles. So much easier to carry. It’s a new fave.

I’d give five stars but mine didn’t come with the seal. I have another cup and switched it out for now. I was too impatient to send back to get a new cup so I ordered new seals from another site.

Insulation and handle are a plus. Internal straw needs daily cleaning

I have the original FreeSip Owala and just recently bought the FreeSip Sway. I love that the handle of the Sway provides a wider handle compared to that of the original. However, I do not think it keeps the coldness of the water as long as the original. I fill the Sway in the morning before work - by noon, the water is room temp. Wished it kept the water cold as advertised (24 hours).

Fits in cup holder!

Water bottle is great. Very tired of the slipshod shipping packing Target does. This water bottle arrived rolling around free in a medium size box. No bubblewrap, no protection. When items come from the store instead of a warehouse, clothing often arrives dirty and almost always rolled into a ball and thrown in a box, as did this waterbottle thrown into a box. Shows employees don’t care.

I bought this because I am trying to drink more water and I love my Owala’s, but this cup is just too big to handle. It’s top heavy and heavy when filled with water so I’m worried that it’s gonna fall over if I don’t grab it just right. I regret buying it b/c it was so expensive and now I don’t even like it. :/

Love the way this water bottle feels and looks! The top opens well without getting stuck and you can even lock it. The handle is so convenient and it fits in my cup holders!

Wrong color! The sleek color is not as advertised. It looks like a light blue with navy and in person its a white and black. Absolutely needs to be updated.

On our way to Las Vegas knowing we would have a 4 hour drive I filled it up with ice water. I put the bottle on the ground of my car to allow for 2 drinks in my cupholder. An hour later the bottle is EMPTY. 40 oz of water on the floor of my car. Very disappointed!

While this water bottle is looks great and is great a lots of things (keeping drinks cold, holding ice, fitting into cup folders, etc) it is NOT great at being leakproof. Leaked on three separate occasions while the lid was in the locked position and closed up as tight as possible. I can't trust it unless it's completely rightside up with the spout on top. Do not reccomend for anyone who needs to toss it in a bag or backpack.
