OWYN Pro Elite 32g Dairy Free Protein Shake - Sea Salt Caramel - 44.6 fl oz/4pk

I actually really like this flavor. I drink it nearly everyday for lunch. I mix in 3 cups of leafy greens, a banana, and 1/4th cup peanut butter in and blend it all together. Delicious! I also drink the vanilla on occasion. This brand is the only protein shake I’ve found, after ten years of searching, that does not upset my GI.

This stuff tastes FOUL. Like, gagged after one sip. The other elite shakes are nasty too, but this is like what someone might come up with if they were challenged to create a drink using only the contents found in an alley dumpster.

The flavor is what ruins this. It has the most unusual flavor. The texture of the shake is good but the flavor and smell is horrible.

Taste was disgusting on its own, in my opinion. Adding cold brew wasn’t enough to save it. I never return food items and will be doing so. Keep the receipt if you try it, that’s all I will say.

This flavor is disgusting and it makes me want to throw up trying to finish it down, not even exaggerating. I always mix these protein shakes with coffee no problem, but this one I just could not handle. never buying again.

I like that these are non dairy and have a lot of protein. I like to mix this flavor with some cold brew for a quick on the go breakfast in the car.

This is by far the most disgusting shake I've ever had in my life.

This flavor is not appealing at all. Does not taste like sea salt caramel and has a fishy aftertaste. I will not be buying this flavor again.

It tasted awful. I tried to add to an iced coffee to try and disguise the taste, but it was gross.

I like the sea salt caramel flavor best. Of course, it doesn't taste like ice cream or candy, but of all the protein drinks I've tried, this is my favorite. I've not found them to taste grainy, I wouldn't be able to drink it if I did. But all of this is subjective. It is a matter of personal taste. I'm quite happy I found it because I hadn't found another I could drink.

This is the best protein drink to have. It won’t have your stomach upset and it’s no over powering protein taste. Wish it was cheaper but still amazing

For a plant-based protein, this OWYN Elite shake is a decent option. The ingredients are pretty okay (not the worst but not the absolute best). There is no artificial sugar or cane sugar in here. I’m not crazy about the gums and the sunflower oil in here because both can be inflammatory and hard on the stomach. Also “natural” flavor is also a gamble because it’s a catch all term for both good and not so good ingredients, and we just can’t know what it’s referring to. I think these shakes are fine in a pinch, but they wouldn’t be my first recommendation for daily use based on ingredients. The salted caramel taste is pretty unpleasant on its own. It tastes a bit metallic (maybe the spinach?) and chemical-like. I cannot personally drink it on its own, but I found that it is pretty decent mixing it with a nespresso pod or coffee and making a protein coffee. I would recommend as something to mix-in, but by itself, it is really not the best. Once again, better than some plant-based proteins, but I wouldn’t say it’s thoroughly enjoyable on its own.

The tops are missing on two. They are all out of the casing that is intended to keep them together. Plus the bottoms are pushed out as if they were stepped on. Highly upset. A little afraid to use it because it seems as if it was tampered with. I would recommend the product just not for shipping.

I don’t drink it alone but I use it to replace milk in my daily caramel latte. It’s my favorite way to drink coffee!

I love OWYN I usually get the 20g chocolate one but found out target now sells their 32g version as well and it made me even happier since they have sea salt caramel too plus it’s cheaper and more convenient then buying protein powder, buying 5 packs of these at target is cheaper then some protein powders with similar servings I’ve been buying for the past 2 years so needless to say I will be sticking to these from now on for my protein intake, plus it has better ingredients/macros so I highly recommend stocking up on them if you can get your hands on them! I’m not sure what people are talking about in the reviews but taste wise I thinks it taste just like it says on the box but everyone has different taste buds and it depends on if it’s cold or not too, and what you ate last is what I’ve found out when drinking these sometimes and just protein drinks in general but overall it’s good especially this flavor!

The product is thick like similar but somehow worse than drinking powdered fiber. The product should have a choking hazard label on it. Worst protein shake I ever had like the taste is worse than chalk.

The taste is absolutely awful. It tastes like it had tajin mixed in it??? Will never be repurchasing.
