Sharp edges
Wish I had read the other negative reviews first; the metal is very sturdy but also very sharp on the edges near the plastic handle. I’d your hand slips even a little off the plastic you could hurt the skin on your hand! Too expensive for that quality. I’m sure it’s effective either way the dough but OXO is supposed to be ergonomically good and safe tools also.

Worst OXO tool ever
I thought OXO made utensils for comfort. It’s too heavy, I thought I was going to cut myself on the sides and the grip isn’t long enough. Okay it’s easy to clean so I’ll find someone with small hands who likes to make pies.
