Q: Would this mat work for confectionaries? (Pouring melted sugar ~300 degrees onto the mat to stretch/work with?) Not sure if the mat can handle that temp.
A: Yes! The mat is made of silicone and can withstand high temperatures and will work with melted sugar.

Q: How thick is this mat?
A: It's really thin, like a sheet of paper or manilla folder. Does the job perfectly though.
