OXO Glass Deep Dish Pie Plate with Lid

I purchased these with lids because I wanted lids for my pies after baking. I go tired of using foil or other types of homemade coverings. I love pyrex and love that the lid has holes so the pie does not keep in moisture and make the pie crust wet and mushy. Highly recommend if you are looking at these as you will not be disappointed.

They got it ready for pick up but it’s brand new had a crack on the lid then decided get refund. Wish they had stronger lid without crack.

Great in theory. Unfortunately, I didn’t *actually* get to use it, because it arrived with a cracked lid. I returned it, but all my local Target stores were sold out, so I wasn’t able to get a replacement.

I needed a deep dish pie plate for a peanut butter pie. Pie plate is good quality and having a lid is a fantastic addition. Will be buying more for my kitchen.

I will be returning this pie plate because it is not deep as advertised.

I love this pie set, it’s so great when transporting pies. If you’re a pie maker, you need one of these, or two. Seriously love this so much.

The walls are taller than a traditional pie plate and I use the pillsbury ready to bake pie crust. That means there isn’t enough dough to reach the top lip. As it bakes it slides down and sinks in the filling. Even if you made your own dough and had enough to make it to the rim, you’d have to be conscious of how the lid clips on. Also for pecan pie I use a pie shield on the crust for the first 25 min. Shield won’t fit in this plate! Probably would work great for pudding pies with tall whipped topping. Really needed a lidded pie plate for thanksgiving but was is not it.

This is perfect for pies or quiche & I love the lid so you don’t have to use foil to mess up the crust or use a tall cake carrier that would take up a lot of fridge space. It’s deep enough for a large recipe as well.

Love this! The vents on the top of the lid are great - my pie can sit out on the counter covered, but not get soggy.

This came quickly and in good condition. I didnt realize the air vents in the lid but I can live with that. I'll just plug them up

Not deep dish, same height as regular pie pan. In the store this exact item's packaging doesn't even say deep dish.

Plastic top arrived cracked

We purchased a Pyrex pie plate, which I often use for nachos or baked pasta. However, I'd be short a pie plate for a week at a time when my partner used it to make brownies or something. With that one, we'd have to cover the brownies with foil or plastic wrap, so we thought we'd try this one with its incorporated lid. However, the lid has several large vent holes. This might be fine if you've just baked a pie and you need to let it cool/vent while you take it to a party, but it's no good for storing stuff for a while in your fridge. The dish itself seems like good quality, but the lid just isn't effective at being a lid. None of my other storage container lids have holes; why does this one?
