A: No, only the top pump can be locked down flat with the top. It is still going to be over 6 inches tall. The basket does not flatten m.

Impossisble to disasseble to clean. Watched youtube several times. It gets moldy oxo dona better job at design.
Bought in store got rave reviews. Impossible to disassemble to clean. Many on youtube showed mold in spin section but people on youtube had an impossible time cleaning it. I have been working on it for 2 hours. NOT WORTH THE PRICE and cannot email oxo and complain but will call them

So easy and so user friendly! Truly a no brainer for getting excess water off of your greens. I appreciate the convenient tab on the top that leaves the push button depressed, which makes this salad spinner very easy to store. Super easy to clean as well.

I have had this for the last two years and i definitely use it every single week… you can trust your greens was going to be dry. The material is pretty resistant and the grips at the bottom gives the stability needed.

A great tool for salad
The OXO salad spinner is super easy to use and dries out the lettuce fast. I love that it can be used as a bowl too so it saves time and dishes. I love that it’s used as a colander too with even veggies I can wash them while spinning them dry all in one place. You can fit a lot into the bowl and drains easily. It’s very easy to store and take apart if you wanted to use it just as a bowl.

Poorly made and poor performing Salad Spinner
Bought it and brought it home. When I opened the box the basket was missing. I had to drive all the way back to Target and return it and get another. The new one I brought home had a crack in the plastic that covers the spinner inside. Very poorly made. I should have returned it but I was already frustrated with having to make 2 trips to Target. Also, it does not spin properly and it does not do a good job of drying the lettuce I am trying to dry.

DO NOT BUY THIS. I usually love OXO products as they’re very high quality, but this one was a total miss for me. There are no side handles in the inside basket so it’s insanely difficult to separate the two if theres food inside the basket. Even worse, you cant open up the spinner mechanism. This has caused mold to grow inside of it despite me cleaning it after every use. I run in it in the dishwasher as it is labeled dishwasher safe but that may have caused the mold to grow. I hate this purchase.

Well designed salad spinner
This is a very reliable salad spinner. It's large to enough to hold several heads of lettuce. The plunger has a good grip on it and it's easy to stop the movement. It's also dishwasher safe which is a nice plus.

I love this salad spinner. I’ve had a few others in the past that said they’re dishwasher safe. This one really is. I’ve put it in the washer multiple times on the top rack and it hasn’t warped! I like that on a week night I can serve a big salad right out of the bowl.
