At my age (70+), I've had a few countertop paper towels holders over the years. This is the first one that I can actually pull off one or two paper towels with one hand & it doesn't move. Perfect!

Been looking for a new paper towel holder & so hesitant to order one since reviews vary so much, you're never really sure if you can rely on them. This one is perfect, nice looking & sturdy. As one reviewer said, no need for an arm to hold toweling in place, you can literally just pull a piece off with one hand, even when the roll is almost gone, no tipping, rips right off easily. Glad I selected this one, wish I hadn't put it off for so long since the old one was so annoying and difficult to deal with.

Glad I got this one instead of the one with an arm, don’t have to worry about an extra part that can break, easy to tear paper towels with one hand, base is sturdy and weighted so it doesn’t move when I tear a piece off , don’t have much trouble with the end unraveling

I needed a paper towel holder capable of holding the large size rolls and this one is perfect. So far it does exactly what it's supposed to do. It holds the paper towels in place. It has a rubber bottom which makes it easy to pull off a single paper towel without having to grip the holder. It looks nice and it was on sale at Target! So far I haven't found any reason not to like it.

This paper towel holder lasted 6 months. Paper doesn't turn easly and can't be used with one hand. The top lock broke last week, making me very unhappy.

Countertop papertowel holder

In-between homes and needed a new holder at the new place - old place has the more expensive OXO holder which I purchased 15 years ago and I always kind of hated it. The arm on the old version is annoying and all those little metal parts need to be cleaned, etc. The cheaper version has the lip on the base and it works! No need for the annoying arm. Get this cheaper version and be happier! I look forward to throwing out the older, more expensive model ASAP.

Sturdy, elegant design, and truly does allow you to pull off a towel with one hand. Very much worth the price.

Jumbo paper towels work great on this holder. The holder is sturdy and the towels tear off really well. I'm happy with this purchase.

Looks great but is driving me nutts because the paper towels unravel since it doesnt have that stick most have to hold the flap in.
