Q: Since this is unsalted, according to your label, it should be safe to feed to my cats?? Thank you.
A: I know this is an old question, but NO. It contains onion, which can be very dangerous for cats. (And check the label, it does still have sodium-though not much.)

Q: The label lists says it contains “Organic Spices” ?? What are these exactly? I have strict food allergies and need to know. I find it very odd that every item is listed except these!! Thank you
A: Hi NanaC. Thank you for your question. Spices are used in our recipes to provide the unique flavor to each of our products. The spices may appear on the label by their familiar name (i.e. basil) or may appear as “spices”. Since product recipes change frequently and ingredients are periodically added and replaced, it makes it difficult to maintain an updated list of products that either contain or lack a particular ingredient. Thank you and we hope this helps. -Riley with Pacific Foods

Q: does drinking this promote weight loss?
A: Hi Deb. Although we would like to help, since we are not healthcare professionals, we are not equipped to determine if our products would meet individual dietary needs. We recommend that you provide the specific nutrition list from the label on the package to your health care professional, who can best determine if the product fits your needs. We hope this is helpful. -Riley with Pacific Foods

Q: How much collagen is in this??
A: Thank you for your question. Our bone broths go through a flash-heating step before being packed into the carton. This flash-heating process is at very high heat and is done to sterilize the product. Because that step is done at such a high heat, the collagen and other proteins present in our bone broth go through a process known as denaturation. It is this process that relaxes the protein and keeps it from congealing. At this time, we haven’t tested our bone broth specifically for collagen, however, we try to cook our bone broth the way you would at home – over low heat and for long hours to let the collagen and protein-rich parts break down to create a bone broth that is packed full of nutrients.

Q: The product claims to be organic. It's made from Chicken stock per the label. Do you know if the product comes from grass fed chickens or is it pasturized?
A: Thanks for reaching out! The chickens are both grass fed and grain fed, the product is also pasteurized.

Q: Why did the recipe change yet the pictures here show the old packaging info? The new batch I got here does not taste the same (more sugary and less flavor) and I realized the ingredients are missing all the apices and vegetables.
