Q: What rug pad is being recommended?

A: The type of rug pad for this rug would depend on the area it is being used. If this is used on an uncovered patio/deck then the use of a rug pad made specifically for outdoor use is highly recommended. These types of rug pads lift the rug backing off the surface and allow air to circulate under the rug to assist in drainage and drying time. If used indoors then a rug pad made for the specific floor type (carpeting vs. hard surfaces) that keep the rug from slipping and/or bunching under furniture.
