I have been using the gold series for several years. But I purchased this butter-creme and have been totally disappointed. It does not enhance my hair in any way.

I am a curly girl who swims in chlorine pools every day, have dry hair from menopause, and color it b/c my hair is 75% gray. This is one of the ONLY products that adds shine and moisture, reduces frizz, and defines curls. Please bring it back, so many of us curly girls really need this type of product!

Knowing that it was created by black scientist was impressive to me, in that they know what we deal with when it comes to our hair. I have been natural for 7 years. Really great product. It is the reinvented form of grease in a more sophisticated way to retain moisture and not the greasy feel. My one suggestion on Pantene gold series is the preservatives. It changed, everyone seems to be opposed to paraben’s but they are safe. Please stop with the benzyl alcohol. This swaps are higher incidences in contact dermatitis and eczema prone skin. Every time I find a product that works they get rid of safer preservatives and add all of these ones that are prone to irritate sensitive skin.

This is the perfect moisturizer for my hair, not too light or too heavy, absorbs easily with a nice sheen. Why only 6oz? Naturals have long hair too and this small container makes the price per ounce higher than a lot of other options. I mean at least 8oz would be fair, with 10 - 12oz as a bonus.

I hope they never stop making this exact product!! I used to jump from product to product thinking the next one would be better but I have found the BEST ONE!! Curls don't look crunchy or frizzy, just soft and shiny.

I absolutely love this product, although I've recently had problems sourcing it. My hair is quite thick but quite fine and because I prefer it to dry naturally my hair can iften look like I just pulled up on my broomstick! With this lovely product my hair will fall easily into natural curls as it drys. It also adds a lovely scent and shine to my hair. I'm getting on a bit now so to find a hair product that really enhances my hair is wonderful. I won't be changing to anything else!

This is the first time I have bought a Pantene product as I was always used to their products being for white women. I found this and decided to try it out and OMG, I'm so happy I did! I have natural hair but I wear it straight (low heat and with a hair protectant) so it looks relaxed. This hot weather was putting a beating to my hair but two quarter-sized dollops and it already feels so much better! So shiny too!

The bottle is very poorly designed. After a couple uses, the glittery label wears off and you end up with glitter all over your hands, as you’re trying to moisturize your hair. SO ANNOYING!!!

I love this product. I’m black and white so my hair texture is very curly, thick and dry. Not many products work for my hair type but this is great and I recommend trying. I’m out of the product and I can’t seem to find it in stores anymore. Yes I have looked everywhere. Please bring it back!

I've used the Pantene Butter Cream for almost 6 months now. I was looking for moisturizing and taming flyaways. I have very curly hair, but 2 dime-size dollops of this and my whole head is moisturized. I love it!

My daughter Rose hair type is 3c. I’ve tried this product and her frizz was tamed, her hair was moistured and her curls popped! I am excited for Rose because I’ve had a hard time finding something that does not dry her hair out oh and I add the Intense Oil infused with Argan Oil after apply this and it works great together!

Having used the Gold Series products I was excited to try the Butter-Crème, but was quickly disappointed. I have tried this product all the ways in which it is recommended, but my hair is still yet to be either too dry and frizzy or I look like a total grease-ball. After a half dozen or so unsuccesful tries to get the right balance I am giving up. I do not recommend this product.

If your hair is of a natural texture, apply a dime sized amount of the Butter Crème to our palm and rub together. Pull through dry or damp curls to infuse moisture and shine. Apply more as needed to enhance definition. If your hair is relaxed, only use this product on dry hair. Apply a dime size amount at night before you wrap your hair. I have platinum blonde natural hair. My hair was always dry and rough from the dye. I've tried multiple moisturizers and my hair was still rough. I started using the HYDRATING butter crème by PANTENE and WOW!!! I LOVE IT!! NO MORE HARD HAIR!!!
