Q: Will this work with an offset umbrella as opposed to a normal vertical umbrella? I have a 10' offset umbrella, but need a base for it.

A: Thank you for bringing this to our attention - this was entered by accident. We've notified our marketing team and they are working to change it. With that said, depending on which umbrella you wish to put in the stand, you may need to add base weights (such as our PPU-902-U and PPU-904-U models) for stability. This information should be provided with the umbrella you choose to purchase.

Q: Can an umbrella pole diameter of 1.5 in be used with this stand?

A: Hi Vicar, The hole diameter is 1.5 inches, so an umbrella pole of 1.5 inches in diameter should work.

A: Hi Asmude - yes this stand will hold an umbrella, without the need of a table - but you will want to have patio stones, or another type of support holding the base down in case of a windy day.
