Paulownia Lemongrass and Citronella Cotton Wick Jar Candle Beige - Threshold™

Purchased this candle and used it for the first time last night and only about an hour into burning it caught on fire. There were big flames coming from it and thankfully, it was in a secluded location where nothing else caught on fire. We had to quickly smother it to get it put out. Definitely would not recommend.

The candle is beautiful, didn’t smell bad like most citronella does BUT the wicks burned down within minutes of lighting them and there’s still a ton of wax. Such a disappointment.

The wicks don’t last long at all. There’s still SO much wax left but the wicks are burnt to the base.

The wood cracked and melted wax on my new out door furniture. Very disappointing

Beautiful citronella candle. Unfortunately the entire wood candle encasement caught on fire when it was lit. The flame got really tall and the candle could not be blown out. We had to put the flame out with water.

Beautiful candle, I loved the smell. It did not mold or crack and it did stay lit….. So much so the whole thing started completely on fire. We had to lift the entire table to dump it into our bonfire before it melted my table.

Don’t waste your money! The candle will not stay lit!

Worst smell I’ve ever smelled in a candle. This is not an exaggeration. It smells like bad incense people use to cover up cigarette smoke smell. It was so bad that I had to put it out in the garage instead of my house prior to returning it. It’s not a normal citronella smell, which I don’t mind.

Love the look of this candle, but the wicks would NOT stay lit! I tried everything and there was barely a breeze.

I loved this piece until the wax leaked through a crack on the bottom onto my table.

Got moldy under a covered porch. Haven’t even had it long. Disappointed

These are TERRIBLE. Love the look and idea but lasted about 2 evenings. They even still look like they have wax and plenty of life left but the wicks are to the end. I’m left with wax and they keep going out. Don’t buy!!

I love these citronella candles that I ordered online and we're delivered to me today. I was very disappointed to see that the candles were just put in the box with no packing materials at all. One was for a gift. Not anymore. These are great candles. I suggest you buy them in the store.

So excited to have this to light up during the summer sitting around the fire without mosquitos biting us!!!

I love this candle but I would have been upset if I spent full price as it is super shallow.

Beautiful , but burns a little uneven. I put the wooden citronella bowls out only for party’s. I don’t predict they would withstand being out in the rain or extreme heat due to the bowl wood warping or breaking down. I’ve only used it twice but I can already see how uneven it burns. It’s beautiful and aesthetically please, just not practical.

Don’t waste your money… burned it once for aN hour if that and wicks burned out. And next day was completely moldy on the outside. Looks nice but not functional.

Beautiful candles for gifting! I will buy more in the future!

I see reviews about it, not smelling great, but I can’t get it to stay lit also first day outside the wood cracked the whole bowl! just sitting on a table under my outdoor patio and the whole thing split open so you can’t light it because the wax would leak out. DO NOT BUY
