Q: Does the lid stay up on it's own or do you need to hold it up?

A: Hello,the lid will gradually close on its own if not held or propped up.This can effectively prevent accidental pinching of hands.

Q: Are the colors labeled correctly? The “brown” appears more taupe, and the “taupe” looks brown. I want the lighter one but not clear which to order?
