32" Folding Storage Bench - Room Essentials™

This thing is awful if you are actually trying to use it for an ottoman/Bench. The side walls are so flimsy that the lid keeps falling into the ottoman. I bought this after have a few cheap ($15-$20) storage ottomans from Ollie's that would wear out after about 6 or 7 months of use. I haven't had this ottoman for more than 2 months and it's already worse that either of the cheaper one I bought from the Discount store. I could have almost bought 3 of the cheaper ottomans for the $50 this one costs. I have been going through a series of knee surgeries so it's important I have something I can elevate my legs with and I assumed that spending a little more this time would heed better results. well I was wrong.

The reviews were right, lol. So mid. I wouldn’t sit on it. Target is thinking pretty highly of themselves for charging that much money for this thing I’ll keep some blankets it that is just ok quality and smells like chemicals, but I guess it is what it is. Really funny that it requires assembly too LOL.

The quality is really nice and you literally just pop it out to assemble which was appreciated. It didn't work for my space but I would definitely recommend. Please be aware though you cannot sit on this! It just makes for nice looking storage.

Offgassed like I was in a World War I trench. I had to wash everything I stored in it and air out the room it was in after I trashed it. And never mind sitting on it.

The lid falls into it if you even look at it funny. If you have kids, a pet, or want to actually sit on something, don't buy this.

Very pretty! Was a snap to assemble. The cats took to it immediately. Didn’t buy it for them, but they love it. Lightweight and easy to move around. Will use it to store throws.

It looks nice. The lid simply sits on top of the collapsable sides which is difficult to put on correctly. Definitely do not sit as the lid can shift.

Beautiful great for Dorms

This is a jem when it is intended for storage. The lid is not so easy to close, and definitely not for sitting! But truly great for storage. I use it to store linens in a smal NYC apartment!

Unstable, lid closes with difficulty, not functional

I bought this to put blankets in. The bonus is that it can also be a side table. Love the green color.

Think of the cube organizer bins. You pop it open and put the hard bottom square in. This is the same concept. Pop it open,insert bottom. Then imagine having a heavy ill fitting(bcuz bottom is flimsy and easily distorted)lid to pop on top. Very unstable. Cute but lacks functionality. Definitely not kid safe.

Really wanted this to work. Unfortunately the lid needs some more support. The fabric is nice and the weight of the product is great but its functionality is not.

It looks nice but it is hard to close and put the lid on. Once you open it is very unstable, it needs something on the top to make it sturdy Easy to assemble,
