Would not order this through Target, it is delivered in one huge box that came extremely damaged- barely any wrapping around item; which caused damage to the body of the vehicle; needed this for our Santa gift so could not return or exchange it or would have been without a Xmas gift.

Worth the money! Great on grass. Way better than the cost way one I had to return. I spent double on this but it is worth it. Wish I would have gotten this a year ago when my twins were there or even 2.5.

Great ride on but was assembled wrong

Jamie - 3 years ago, Verified purchaser
Really great ride on toy but was mis-assembled and we had to fix the back motor ourselves. Couple loose pieces like the “speedometer” display make it seem like some parts or support are missing. The kids love it though and they don’t notice. You also have to hold the gear shifter in reverse the whole time you want to move backwards, which is odd (different from other ones) and tougher for younger kids. Only other complaint is the support bracket around the battery which screws in on both sides of battery makes it hard to take battery inside to charge. Nice seat belts, easy sticker application for the camo look. Works really well though. Kids love it. Would give easy 5 stars except the motors were reversed between back left and back right. So I had to figure out how to take that apart and switch (it was going in reverse when in 1 or 2 gear and forward in reverse! Ha!). Without fixing that error, it would have probably taken about 1.5-2 hours to assemble for one person. Also easily hold our 9 and 6 year old and our 6 and 2 year old- they all 3 love it.

Terrible quality

A - 3 years ago, Verified purchaser
Wow, terrible quality. Easy enough to put together (although instructions are not the best) but once my child started driving it parts of the car so easily broke off. Can't even use the seatbelt because the back part that holds it on will not stay on. Can't return because it asks for the box-- threw the box away so kids wouldn't see it for Christmas. Wish they would offer even a partial refund for the terrible quality!

Huge Dissapointment

Jen - 3 years ago
We’ve had this for two years and it has never worked right. The tires are out of balance…one will spin while the others won’t, it won’t move when pushing on the accelerator (fully charged), and the battery does not stay charged. We’ve reassembled multiple times with no luck. We’ve had a Peg Perego gator for over 7 years that has worked great. This Polaris just sits in our shed because it never works.

Disliked putting it together but these things are never fun for me. Understood the directions easily enough though. Had to fend the kids off while trying to put it together they were so excited. Battery has quite a good life. Very well made. 3 and 6 year old really enjoy it!

Doesn't Last Long for What You Pay

1 out of 5 stars
- 3 years ago, Verified purchaser
It's not really THAT hard to put together. There is a very informative step by step video on youtube that helped a TON! However, I disagree that it rides well on grass...we had to add rubber to the tires so it has some grip. The car started out okay, but the real disappointment is that we've had this vehicle for only about 6 months and we've had to replace both of the motors on the back tires, and they are still going out. They don't spin with the accelerator being pushed. Thought there was a battery issue too. It just seems defective. I was expecting something $300+ to last longer than 6 months!!!

It was great for… 3 months? The battery died today. Regular use for our 3YO, nothing harsh. Battery replacement appears to be $70. Not sure it’s worth the price, so buyer beware.

If you are reading this review prior to purchasing run away right now!!! We have 4 children so needless to say but we assemble a lot of toys and even furniture. We actually have another ride on vehicle which was assembled upon receipt at a birthday party (yes, it was that easy!). This by far takes the cake on horrible instructions and quality for the price paid. It took my husband and me 4 hours to assemble. Nothing in the instruction manual made sense and the stickers are a living nightmare. We should have returned it immediately upon opening because it came with so many parts. For example, why does a steering wheel need 6 parts...that’s absolutely insane. If I could give this a ZERO rating I would. Such a disappointment given the cost. Please do yourself a favor and find something else your little one will like.

Haven't driven yet as battery has to charge for 18 hours but it's pretty awesome. My kids (aged 2 to 10) are loving playing with it while it sits in our living room. Assembly was easy once you get the hang of the directions (they aren't very wordy). I like that you can sort of customize how many stickers you put on.

Very disappointed that there are no actual shocks on this so-called mini Polaris by Peg Pergo. It’s sticker so there is no structural shock system for this to be used in any type of off-road manner in the least. should have gotten the mini Range Rover.
