A: The Dirt Quad is designed to go up to 40 minutes of continuous ride time on a fully charged battery. No improves have been made to the battery however different factures such as rider weight, low tire pressure and/or riding conditions (terrains) can effect the amount of ride time.

A: No, this dirt quad does not come with a shock. I used a 550lb, 150mm in length shock from Amazon. And while you're at it, also change the sloppy steering linkage to actual ball joint rod ends.

My grandson loves this Razor ATV and so fo I.
Really like this razor ATV for my 4 year old grandson. Shopping for a new 12 or 24 volt vehicle for him to ride and snagged this Razor for the same price as plastic 'Power Wheels' type vehicles. With the dual speed setting we can restrict increase the safety while he is learning to use it. Very well built all steel frame with a hand operated disc brake. Great quality and he is so proud of this one!

poor quality
Not a great product. Battery lasts about 25 minutes on a full charge and the battery stops holding a charge after about 15 months. Replacement batteries are $100 and they only last about 12 months. Not worth the time and maintainence.

Not worth the price
Purchased this for our granddaughter and she used it for a few months. Just stopped working, tried charging it more than once and says it’s fully charged until she tried running it then states low all the time. Tried getting a new battery but almost impossible to find one that works. Website is useless to find a battery that will work. Do not recommend this at all. Very disappointing would give a zero but lowest rating is a one.

Battery Issues
I purchased this for my son as a birthday gift. He was able to ride it once before the battery died- we weren't able to charge it again even after replacing the charger. Not sure what the issue is but it's extremely difficult to figure out what's wrong with it and the company hasn't been especially helpful.

This is a great little machine but has its problems. It's batteries are terrible and you will have to replace them if you want to enjoy the machine for more than 20 minutes at a time. It is built much better than any power wheel. Not even comparable really. I would recommend getting this quad online from somewhere that's giving a good deal and immediately upgrade to 20 amp hour lithium-ion batteries. If you get 24 volts it will stay the same speed. If you get 36 volts it will go 50% faster. I would also really recommend getting your kid the wheel spacer kit because the quad is a little narrow and can be flipped pretty easily. If you're willing to put the work in and do a couple simple modifications you can have a machine that will last your kid a long time. I would recommend from ages 3 to 7 years old. I'm not sure why they advertise it for eight plus. But honestly if you just want your kid to mess around in the yard here and there. You're probably better off with a Power Wheels JeepAnd a tool battery adapter

Wont keep charge
Agree with others. Stopped charging after 6 months . I bought new charger thinking that would help . No such luck. Machine says it has a full charge but then dies shortly after my son starts riding it. Thought about trying a new battery since I didn't buy the extended warranty but don't know if I want to put more money into this machine

Great, but short lived.
Worked great for 7 months, my son loved her. Then it wouldn’t accept a charge from the charger. Tried a new charger with no luck. We always ensured it was on the charger when not in use. This problem is similar to what others have reported. If you buy it, buy the extended warranty. You’ll need it.
