Hyper Retri Scooter - don't buy.
No not buy- Bought in November 2024 for a Christmas present for my granddaughter. They kept scooter inside during the cold winter - didn’ get to ride until April - battery only lasted 3 months and the 6 month warranty started on the battery when I bought in November. New battery is $68.00. I would not recommend - Hyper was not helpful at all. It was a good deal but a bad buy.

Do not buy
Bought this as a christmas present. Opened it when the weather was warm enough and my daughter was only able to use it a handful of times before it would no longer hold a charge. Target wouldn’t do anything about it. I don’t not recommend this item.

Works for us
I bought this for my 9yr old daughter for Christmas and she has used it about 2-3 time a month since then. We haven't had any issues with the battery and it holds a charge longer than expected. Since it can hold up to 170lbs I figured it wouldn't hurt for me to take a spin on it and it was pretty fun, except my legs are just a smidge too long for it (I am 5' 2"). We bought it before black Friday so we got it for about half the advertised price, but I would easily pay full price for this scooter. The only downside is a small one, but the seat compartment can be a little hard to open at time.

We bought 2 and the battery life dies pretty fast. We charged them +6 hours each and one of them doesn’t last more than 10 min. I will be returning the 2nd one. Overall i like them i just wish the battery life lasted longer, they are exactly as shown on the picture. I was able to ride it (135lb). They also go pretty fast.

Didn't work
I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. We followed directions and charged 12 hours in advance. It did not work. We charged for another 24 hours, and it did not start. I checked all the connections and everything looked fine. Tried to contact the manufacturer directly and their customer service seemed non-existent. The phone message was to go online for chat. Online chat was showing zzz like asleep. Contacted Target directly as they had no other in stock. They did not answer the phone, most likely because it's the day after a holiday. My daughter spent all day worried about it not working. What a bummer on Christmas. Would not recommend.

Cute pink scooter!
Love this retro scooter. Easy to assemble - just a top piece and a wheel, took about 10m. Easy and safe to learn to ride and goes pretty fast! Charge time was quick and battery life is great! Super cute and looks just like a little mini moped for your little mini! Would recommend!

Would not turn on
We charged it for 16 hrs and it didn't turn on. Easy to put together and our daughter was super excited to ride it. Sadly it doesn't work at all. We're going to take it back today.

Better Than Expected
Pros: It runs pretty quickly and is definitely made for tweens and younger kids, unless you're like me and want to try it at least once, lol. Ride time is about three to four hours, depending on how fast you want to use it. Charging is pretty quick compared to other vehicles; it takes five hours to charge fully. Cons: I couldn't find the charger and extra parts when I took it out of the box, but then I found out they were hidden in the seat. I felt stupid, but I wish they would have at least left the directions out so they could say to check the seat first.

Comfortable Scooter
This scooter was well built. There’s a small compartment under the seat to hold some toys or a phone. And there is a hook to hang a helmet when the scooter isn’t in use. It is a father’s requirement to try out the scooter before the kids use it. I can safely say it has no problem moving a180 pound person. So if the parents need to use it to go to the corner store that should work.

Super cute, BUT.
It is super cool! No doubt about it, and it’s such a cute idea. BUT the battery doesn’t last very long, the product would be so much better if the power lasted way longer. I was hoping i could go on walks with my sister on it, i don’t think that will be happening. Also we had trouble getting the steering wheel to stay aligned with the wheel causing it to go in the opposite direction. ☹️
