Petlibro 2.5L Dockstream App Monitoring with Additional Water Pump Cat Automated Fountain

Looks great, good connection, and worked out great at first, until it didn’t. Both water pumps stopped working within less than 2 months. First one lasted about a month and the second one lasted about a week. Initially they worked great when the water is full but then barely any water coming out once it gets to about 1/4 full. Which that was fine as I would clean and refill at that time any ways as it would’ve been about 5-6 days. But then it started having very low pressure with barely any water flow only 1-2 days after cleaning/filling to max. So no water flow even when water level pretty close to max. Just put in new pump about a week ago and it’s already doing the same thing. I noticed this started happening after the original filter that came with unit was replaced. But still using the same pet libro filters that are for this fountain so shouldn’t be an issue but who knows, I’m not sure what the problem is but really disappointing as the unit should last longer than a couple months at this price point. Also noticed there’s slimy build up on all pieces of the unit within only a couple days, so requires very frequent cleaning which is inconvenient and also wastes 3/4 of the water d/t dumping it every couple days to clean everything. Also sometimes alerts that my cat drinks water at times that she’s sleeping and nowhere near the fountain. Such a bummer cause my cat actually loves the fountain and doesn’t beg to drink out the bathroom faucet now lol, but then also gets mad and paws/scratches at it when the pressure is so low and barely any water is coming out. I have to keep a separate water bowl as well to ensure she always has water. I loved it too for the first few weeks when it actually worked correctly. Not happy at all and now need to start the search for a different one, again!
