Petroleum Jelly - 7.5oz - up&up™

After being in the ER on Friday they recommended I get Vaseline; was told recto always buy the store brand because it’s the same thing made by a company..immediately I went to Target for up & up. After reading much more negative reviews about ‘their’ product I now feel I need to spend the extra money for the original product. Why did they change their formula; confused? I know the economy is bad right now so is everyone cutting back on ‘their’ products?

Accidentally waited almost 2 months to use this, kept product in temperature controlled room but now that I actually used it there is a strong smell in the product itself (not the container it’s in but the actual jelly) has a plastic-like/chemical smell that stays even after applied to skin. I will return this product because white petrolatum USP 100% (which this product is) should not have any scent or color to be considered pure. I’ve never encountered this issue before with other brand’s white petrolatum.

I bought this same petroleum jelly years last year and it was much thicker then. This is way too watery. If I put it around my eyes it runs into them. Not good for slugging

I used to love most things that were Up&Up but after they changed everything nothing is good quality anymore. This Vaseline is so thin!

Not bad but not great. Too watery not thick enough I will stick with the higher cost name brand next time

I was buying expensive products to soothe my wintery dry skin, none of which worked. Good ole vaseline did the trick in 1 day! Helped the dry skin on my face and body

This is a small size. Nice consistency, a little softer than Vaseline brand.

It’s fine for the price but stick to the original brand. The consistency with this one is too watery. I still prefer aquaphor but was trying out a cheaper alternative

No safety seal, had very clear finger marks in the tub. I would of check it at the store if I would have known there was no safety seal

Compared to Vaseline, this is much thinner. It doesn’t have a long lasting hold on the skin which is necessary for eczema healing. The top is annoying, used to be a flip lid but this just comes off completely. I’ve had up and up brand before and this is different now. Disappointed and should’ve just gotten the brand name instead.

Feels and works just like the name brand!
