I did not want to buy more products to satisfy my personal needs to groom. Phillips put it in one unit makes it easier to carry in bathroom or even travel with it. I purchased this to replace a Philips beard trimmer I had had for over 20 year, it was still working but I broke part of it during cleaning. This product is quite simply excellent. It does all parts of the body precisely and safely. I am particularly impressed with the attachment for more delicate areas. The fine adjustments for beard length is easy and effective. Nasal hair trimmer works very well too.

I shave my head once a week (with no guard), and I keep a short trimmed beard, so I use it often, and it has proven itself. Some highlights are that it charges quickly, the battery lasts a long time, it's easy to clean, and it came with attachments for every use case. My only criticism is that the attachment I use the most is not built as well as I would have liked; that's the adjustable guard for shorter lengths. It still works, and I love the expanded range of settings between 1 and 3, but the guard is not perfectly secure. The adjustable guard has a small amount of give, and the vibration of the unit makes it rattle. It's a minor issue, but it makes a lot of noise. This is not an issue you experience with any of the fixed guards. The amount of give in the adjustable guard doesn't seem to affect the consistency of the length setting to a degree that I've noticed with the resulting trim. That being said, I still highly recommend the unit.

It was replaced by Phillips. Im now very careful installing and removing this comb so as not to put undo stress on that locking tab.

Even though there has been significant improvement in the product with the battery life and waterproof technology from the earlier counterparts, there needs to be improvement in the trimming technology as well. Granted that with this product several attachments are given but the hair trimming stays the same way as hair goes everywhere and caught up in the machine itself, gets harder to clean the machine. The attachments given are a plus with the wide and narrow blades. But the body grooming add-ons are not effective as you do get nicks and cuts with it even with the protective guard on. The guards are all there but those could be reduced with the same technology used to combine the guards from 2mm -7mm with a single one. It is a good trimmer provides significant battery life and multiple add-ons, but it sure needs improvement in the actual triiming technology.

With the multitude of attachments and heads this trimmer is versatile enough for most trimming tasks. I mostly use it to trim my facial hair and the occasional body trim. I find it to be an all around upgrade over my older OneBlade that I am replacing with no real downsides except maybe the lack of longer attachment heads .

The trimmer arrived without the extra wide trimmer attachment head which renders 9 of the guards/pieces useless. I cannot use any of the larger sizes because they are too big to attach to the medium sized trimmer head. I only figured this out after my first test run using the trimmer. Very disappointed
