Multi precision blades. 4.5 million hairs on your face are cut by your shaver head within one year. Replace the shaver heads every 12 months and get back peak performance. Blades raise then cut long and short hairs for a fast shave. Super Lift & Cut Action lifts hairs to cut comfortably close. Some shavers have a head replacement indicator. Once a year, depending on your shaving behavior, the shaver head replacement symbol will light up orange continuously, as a reminder to replace the shaver heads. Packaging uses plastic alternative such as FSC-certified paper, aluminum, steel, or glass with great potential to be widely circular for majority of product packaging. This item's packaging is made with up to 99% plastic alternative materials.

    "Response from Philips" says this replacement head SH50 is compatible with s series. I have philips S5880 and on the back of the razor says "REPLACE WITH SH71 HEADS". SH50 head has a "ridge" on its cover and cannot be inserted to the s5880.

    As so many others have said, quality is clearly not up to their older standards. I. Purchased new “triple header’ in 1974 performed very well. Got this “newer model’ 5000 battery operated. Shaving performance is clearly no longer a priority with norelco. I have put up with it as long as I can stand, looking for another brand now.

    I have both a Norelco Series 7 and Series 8 electric razor with lift-and-cut blades, which I have used for years. These SH50/52 blades are the "recommended" replacement for both razors, but the experience is much worse. The old blades cut smoothly while these pull the hairs in a way that almost feels like they're plucking rather than trimming. A close look at the old and new heads side-by-side reveals the downgrade in quality of construction. Very disappointing.

    My old heads were getting like a rototiller on my face. But, I didn't realize it until I put my new SH-50 Replacement blades in. What a difference! They shave me faster and certainly more smooth! I need to change yearly as I love my new results!

    My replacements rip the hair out of my face. These ARE NOT true lift and cut blades. After trying to live with them I reinstalled my old blades. The worn out blades are still far superior to the SH50/52. Save your money to put towards a new razor.
