Q: What is the best stain remover to use on these chairs?

A: I have tried this. It does not work. Any time I have tried to clean them with mild soap and water, it has result in a big spot being left.
submitted byJMack - 6 years agoA: Use Oxiclean Liquid on a towel or spray directly on the chair. Rub with a damp towel. Finish by rubbing the entire seat with a damp towel and it will dry evenly every time. I have the gray ones and this works.

Q: I understand it has the California sticker but is it Prop 65 compliant? Do the chairs contain cancer causing agents?

A: Hello,Thank you for your inquiry! Proposition 65 is a far reaching law in California which requires manufacturers based in California to put this warning label on their products. This warning label can be found on many kind of products, such as electrical wires, jewelry, padlocks, dishes, and flashlights to name just a few. It doesn't mean that the furniture actually causes cancer; it just says that a chemical formaldehyde is used in manufacturing the furniture and may cause cancer (e.g., if swallowed). Our furniture is compliant with California 93120 for formaldehyde phase 2. 93120 is about how much formaldehyde is off gassed from a product at 73 degrees. California has very strict rules when it comes to manufacturing home use products and our furniture is compliant with all of them. None of our products contain the chemical combinations to activate a harmful effect. However, we are still required by state law to provide the warning.

I'm happy with my purchase!
I LOVE these chairs! I have had them for almost two years and they have held up perfectly. They are comfortable and supportive, stylish and well made. My only complaint is the design allows these chairs to be heavier in the back, and as such, they tip over backward easily. My husband solved the problem by installing a heavy metal bar underneath the front side of the chair frame. Now they ARE perfect!

Beautiful, but not really worth the price
I absolutely love these chairs, but I do feel like they are not meant to be sit in all the time to me. They are more decorative chairs than dining chairs. I feel like they’re going to be worn in to easily and for the price I’m not sure if it’s as worth it. But they are beautiful.

Doesnt last long
I’ve had these chairs for about 2 years and wish I didn’t keep them. They are pretty but the quality of the wood is poor, several chairs were very difficult to screw together properly, and a couple legs have snapped! I contacted the manufacturer to send new parts and while they did, the “stain” color did not match the original. Don’t buy these chairs - they aren’t going to last long.

Awkwardly loud and squeaky!
These are the LOUDEST chairs you will ever buy! They are beautiful and have so much potential but squeak extremely loud and sound like it is filled with plastic bags and crinkled gift wrap. These would definitely embarrass any guest that tries to sit in them. So unfortunate!! I wish reviews allowed me to post a sound recording bc it is unbelievable .

Not safe for kids
for adults it's fine, but I have two small kids, and these chairs fall backwards incredibly easy. I guess they're too top heavy. the chairs have fallen on my kids more than once now. I wish I'd returned them :/

I didn’t even assemble these. The wood is rough. There’s no way to “wipe” without whatever rag you used getting snagged. I can only imagine trying to clean.

I ignored all reviews mentioning the chairs tip back. Thought they were exaggerating. Lesson learned. Ordered two. Put one together & returned both next day. The backs of the chairs lean back so far you cannot sit all the way back without bracing for a fall. Even if you lightly graze the back when walking by they tip. Besides faulty design they are poorly made. Held together with lots of glue & loose screws. Screws came loose just in the one day I had the chair together. They don't ever secure tightly. Not sure why anyone would actually keep them "just for looks". They aren't functional at all. Don't be foolish like myself & ignore the reviews. You will be highly disappointed & frustrated you didn't listen, like I am now. They don't deserve even 1 star but required to post review.
