PIC Indoor and Outdoor Electric Insect Killer Replacement Bulb 855 sq ft 9 W (Case of 3)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Insect Killer and LED is an interesting product. You can screw in the light bulb like normal and the light should work. There is a little blue light towards the base of it that is used to attract the insects but it is not bothersome. Also it does make a little noise sometimes when it gets one of the insects its kind of funny.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have another PIC product (PIC 2-in-1 Insect Zapper) that we really like and I hoped this would be at least as effective, but it was not. I operated the two at the same time in the same space, and this bulb only captured a fraction of insects. With that said, it does work, just not as effectively as the PIC Zapper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mosquitoes in Texas are the absolute worst. And I’m not a fan of wearing lots of bug spray, so I tried this bulb to see if it would help. Definitely does! We have it hooked up outside on our little deck, definitely helps keeps the bugs at bay!

So I took it inside to my kitchen where I am always battling fruit flies bc I have a compost bin. It has only been a few days but so far so good.

This is a great item that doesn't take up any extra space - no need for a large, bulky zapper! You can use this indoors or outdoors depending on where your mosquito problem is. You can use it just as a light, just as a zapper, or both giving you plenty of options. Great product to help rid your area of mosquitoes!

The bug zapper seems to work well! Very cool to have a product that will help control the bugs and also offer nice lighting for summer evenings.

I decided to put it on my front porch since I do go outside to smoke quite a few times at night. It not only zaps those bugs, but it is also a very well lit light for my front porch. My kids think it's cool so that's also a plus.

We have an insane amount of bugs out here and they are constantly getting in my front door. I had previously purchased a bug light to try and cut down on the amount of bugs that would fly in when I opened my front door but it didn't work nearly as well as what I needed. This product works! It kills all the bugs that are attracted to the light and it also doesn't compromise the light like a bug light does. It's super dark at night at my house, so I like that this is an LED.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Insect Killer & LED is a really cool alternative to help control bugs. I really like that there aren't chemicals involved and it attracts the bugs to zap them instead. I use this on my porch light to keep the bugs attracted away from my full window door. Usually the bugs are swarming the window towards the light so when the door is opened, a rush of bugs comes through. This helps draw them away from the door and get rid of them. I didn't give a full 5 stars for a couple of cons - it lists mosquitos as a targeted bug but when I clean out the dead bugs I'm not seeing any mosquitos so I'm not sure mosquitos really go for the light. Second, it says it's rated for dry locations only. I'm assuming a covered porch is fine but in general, all my outdoor porch light fixtures are rated for indoor/outdoor due to the high humidity down here in the south. Surely they didn't design this to only be inside but the warning makes me unsure.

After using this for 2 weeks there is hardly any mosquitoes in the tray however, I still have them landing on me next to the light. Maybe they have out smarted the light? But I wouldn’t get another one of these.

While it does do a good job in zapping the bugs, it also attracts way more. There ends up being more bugs flying around than there would have been without it. Also, when there are flying bugs around, spiders come around. If you do use this, I would put it far away from where you plan on being.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked it a lot, the light is intense, white and bright, it provides excellent lighting for my garden, at this time where there are so many insects it is fabulous, with that led light that helps attract and trap them, I recommend this double effect bulb with a lot of confidence and more if you live in the south and in this time where so many insects abound, you can be calm outside in the open air.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pretty good bag zapper and light combination. I think it's really cool how it can kill those pesky bugs and also be a light too! It's getting into the season of the annoying flying insects that like to sneak into the house every time the door opens. Well this zapper helps take care of that problem. I have a light socket right outside above my front door so this was the perfect spot for this. Zap them before they get in! I could also use it inside the house to zap them as soon as they get in. The blue light is kind of cool looking at night and I can switch it to the LED to light up the room or by the door. I just have to get my little step stool to reach the light and pull out the tray to discard the dead bugs. I really like this and I think this would be perfect to have at the front door and the back door!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] what a awesome light that helps keep the bugs away plus light up the yard . this light is very easy to use just plug it in and turn it on . i was so happy to find out that all you have to do is pull a little tray out to clean the bugs plus they give you a little brush to help sweep out the zapper part. this is a 2 in 1 because the bottom half is a bright light while the top in a zapper and helps get all kinds of bugs not just mosquitos . i highly recommend this product to anyone who enjoys the great outdoors but hates the bugs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a hard-working single mom, my days off are incredibly important to me and when I get a day off, my family loves to gather in the backyard and chill out, laugh together, play games and barbecue long into the night. I noticed that as the Texas weather began to get warmer, the amount of flying and biting insects was increasing ten-fold in my backyard and my family felt like they were being eaten alive!! I decided I needed some help and tried an easy to install, easy-to-use dual-purpose PIC ((Pest-Free Living) Insect Killer LED Light Bulb. But, while the LED bulb provided sufficient light for anyone in the immediate vicinity; it was NOT effective protection against Texas insects. I don't think more than 10-12 bugs were killed or zapped in a 5-6 hour period!! I definitely need a more effective insect-kill protection for all these GINORMOUS Texas flies and mosquitoes!

Outside my house I have two motion director lights. Big toads hang out on there waiting for bugs. I am hoping to get rid of both when there are no more bugs for the toads to catch. 1 really like this product, would definitely purchase again, and will recommend to my family and friends!
