This is the first time I have used this product and I followed all directions.... I used to bake a sweet potato pie.... I cooked at 350 and left in for over an hour hoping the crust would turn golden brown but it never did. The directions say it did not have to be precooked.... what did I do wrong? I like the fact that its easy to use and time saving but now Inam worried the crust will be raw.

DISAPPOINTED in Pillsbury. One of the two frozen pie crusts was unusable due to crust edges being crushed in on one side and center being broken. The pie crusts on packaged on top of each other with freezer paper separating and the picture on the bag covers the whole bag including sides, making it very difficult to check the frozen pie crusts. I used Pillsbury pumpkin pie filling recipe for the unbroken crust and it is about 3/4 cup more liquid than can fit into the pie crust. I double checked the ingredient measurement and the recipe appears to be wrong for this size crust.

I've used pet-ritz crusts for 43 years and this year they just don't have the same taste and were tough. Old grease? I'll probably make my own crust next holiday season. I guess all good things come to an end eventually. Very sad. :(

I didn't look closely enough when I bought the deep dish crusts and thought it was the same Pet Ritz I've been buying for decades. I made a quiche last night and even though I followed the directions on pre-baking before filling, the crust was tough, pale not browned on the edges, had no flavor and stuck to the inside of the pie pan. I had to dig it out and it looked terrible. I am glad it was only my husband and myself. I would have been embarrassed if there had been company. Please go back to the old recipe.

**Not Dairy free**I purchased this pie crust because it only contains wheat as an allergen. My son has a severe dairy allergy. We made a dairy free pumpkin pie mixture. My son tasted the batter and had no reaction. I then poured it into the pie crust. Baked it accordingly. Unfortunately, My son went into anaphylactic shock after eating the pie crust. There must have been some cross contamination. Beware!!!

The crust is definitely different. It wasn't horrible, and I won't claim that it caused me great distress. I will say that it is not the Pillsbury pie crust that I have always enjoyed. The pie crust is now similar in texture to an overworked puff pastry that never actually puffed, like the bottom of a baked sausage roll, thin but dense. Thankfully the pumpkin pie filling was very good, but I found myself repeatedly examining the crust's texture. I had blind baked the crust. As I said. it wasn't bad but I would have been embarrassed to have made that crust myself.

Pillsbury ruined the frozen Pet Ritz pie crust! The texture is not flaky anymore and is tough. I had a family reunion and baked 3 pies that were ruined because of this nasty crust. Everyone would compliment how flakey and homemade the crust tasted. Not anymore! The crust used to be delicious when it was Pet Ritz. Bring back the original recipe!

These were just okay. The flavor is pretty meh and they are quite fragile. You can patch them up but that’s annoying. If you’re in a pinch, these are fine but better to make your own pie dough if you can.

HORRIBLE - somehow since sometime last year Pillsbury has ruined these crusts. They're difficult to work with and the final product is thin, non-flaky and extremely unattractive. Will never buy again. Somehow need to find a substitute for Thanksgiving pies. Any suggestions other than making my own? Pillsbury, shame on you. I'm sure this new product is the result of a cost-saving measure. You might have saved money but you're going to lose a lot of your old customers. The new ones will try it once and not come back.
