A: The thermal ink that allows the use of friction to erase will react to heat and cause the ink to fade and give the impression that the pen is out of ink. In some cases, chilling the pen (cont. below)

A: the answer to your question is that they don't, I've had these pens for the entire school year so far and they are great for notebooks because they don't bleed and they're waterproof, hope this helps!

Q: Can this tip be used to write in very small spaces, or is the tip too wide? And does the tip hold it's shape or flatten out and become wider?

A: Depending on the amount of pressure applied to the marker while writing would make the line width vary. Light pressure would produce a thinner line.

A: Pilot reccomends FriXion pens be used for writing&erasing on paper surfaces only. Pilot cannot guarantee or recommend their use on other materials other than which they were originally designed&tested

Love these so much!

They write like a very thin marker, but don’t go through the page. The erasing qualities are quite amazing. Doesn’t leave any residue behind nor any trace of prior marking. It also doesn’t damage the page when you erase. Truly incredible!

Great markers
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter used these markers for a school project and absolutely loved them. She draws quite a bit, and these will be in her rotation for sure. She also liked the fact that they erase. For her drawing, she used a combination of these markers & some others, and they’re equal quality in vibrancy.

Pilot FriXion Fineliners 6-Pack: Truly Erasable, L
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These FriXion Fineliners are pretty handy if you like colored pens but hate mistakes. The erasing really works — just rub with the little eraser on the cap and the line disappears completely with no smudging or damage to the paper. Super satisfying! The colors are nice and bright on paper, but they’re definitely on the lighter/pastel side (especially the lime green and light blue). If you want bold, vibrant shades, these might feel a bit soft. For note-taking, bullet journaling, or light coloring, though, they’re perfect. The 0.7 mm fine tip writes smoothly and doesn’t bleed through most paper. Price is very reasonable for six erasable colored pens — I think it’s a good deal. Overall: solid 4/5. Great for anyone who wants to add some color without the fear of permanent mistakes. Just keep in mind the colors are lighter than they look in the package photos!

Felt tip pens with eraser

The eraser at the top is a rubber circle and as u can see in the picture, does its job. the shape of the eraser did make it hard to erase big areas and I did have to press down really hard.

The colors pop, the tips glide so smoothly, and the erasable feature feels like magic — no ripping paper, no ugly streaks, nothing. It’s like having pretty pens with a built-in “undo” button.Feels great The only thing keeping this from being a full 5-star wow is the pink pen. For whatever reason, that one decided to act different and left a small smudge when I erased it. Not terrible, just not as perfect as the rest of the set. All the other colors erased clean like they were never even there. Still, these pens make my planner, notes, and doodles look so clean and organized. If you love color, precision, and the satisfaction of erasing your mistakes like they never existed, this set is definitely worth grabbing.

These are nice!
I’m quite a stickler when it comes to erasable pens bc I like the ink to be dark and that’s just not the case with most. I figured I’d try these as a last shot and I was actually surprised at how much I like them. The fact that they’re marker pens is what sold me. They were easy to erase as well.

These new pens have vibrant color and glide on the paper. They dry quickly and are easy to use. The erasable portion is about as good as it gets though you can definitely see an imprint.

It erases pretty well however maybe dont use on thin paper as its a rougher erase. Id also recommend letting the ink dry completely before erasing.
