Pilot 3ct G2 Gel Pens Ultra Fine Point 0.38mm Black Ink

As someone who uses pens considerably for college, I have found these pens to be some of my favorite!

This has been my favorite pen for years. The tip is very fine and the pen writes smothly. Plus they sell refill ink cartridges!

I love the ultra fine tip but out of a pack of three, I often have at least one in which the inner part of the nib suddenly protrudes while I'm writing. This can't be fixed so the pen has to be trashed. The ink immediately stops flowing and the pen just scratches the paper. Frustrating when the ink is still full. This is a common problem with G2 pens. I'm not a heavy-handed writer, and I hope they fix the design. But for now, I'm done with G2 since the last pack had three out of three that broke the same way.

These pens are the best. The only pens we use in our house. 10/10 would recommend every day

These are my go-to pens, I can't use any others. Very smooth. Definitely ultra fine, thin lines.

I can only write neatly with this 0.38 mm pen. Any other size and it looks like chicken scratch

I can’t speak for the longevity of this pen but I’m hopeful. I hate writing in pen - much prefer pencil. But at my work end up reaching for a pen most of the time because we never have pencils unless I bring my own. Which I do but lose or forget. These will live in a special spot at work so I don’t forget. Anyway - have been on the hunt for a fine point pen that doesn’t smudge or get too inky. I have horrible writing and regular cheap pens don’t help. I ordered some others that were .5 but they smudged. These are perfect and the click version so I don’t have to worry about losing the cap. I bought them for myself and one of my coworkers who usually picks us up some dollar store versions that are ok but fall apart. And they still smudge. I can’t wait to give her one of these:-)

This pen had great reviews, but I was honestly underwhelmed. While it’s not a bad pen, it’s not the greatest pen on earth as some of the reviews suggested lol. I realize everyone has their own preference. What I don’t love about it is how light the ink is. I actually prefer a darker pigment on paper and a smoother glide. It writes like a pencil which might be great for others, but not for me.

These pens are perfect. I use them to write on important documents for clear legibility

I've been using this .38 point ink for manny years. It is by far my favorite even among other high end inks I've liked (e.g., Mont Blanc, Cartier, etc.). I am left hand, so the ultra fine, and other technology (i.e., smooth and qucik drying, etc.) is great for my personal hobby of writing and professionally as well. Also, when I lend my pen to someone when networking they say things like, "wow, this is so smooth," and "what a nice pen - very easy to use." #smoothoperator

These are my favorite pens! The fine 0.38 point makes writing neat and easier! I will forever buy these pens. Hopefully, they begin to make more colors and items available in the 0.38 fine point!

Pilot pens are my go-to because of their' great ink and quality. These pens are long-lasting, and the ink doesn't smear. If you want a cleaner writing look, I recommend buying .38.

These are literally the best pens. They are gel pens but don’t bleed much because they are so thin. They last a long time and are fairly priced.

The best pens I’ve ever used in my life and I’ve been repurchasing regularly for over 5 years. The .38 tip is the perfect size for writing and I used this pen every day!

Everyone makes fun of me for using these they say they are so fine they feel like they are going to cut through the paper but I love them. I write very small so this helps keep the words readable and not weird. I have found that they get ruined way easier though, like ill start using a brand new pen and it just will stop working and the tip will just bleed really bad but also not put out any ink. They have always been this way though....and I keep buying them so I guess that tells you what you need to know.

found my new, all time FAVORITE PEN (and i’m not a pen connoisseur - i usually just don’t care). but I love the fine point and how smoothly it writes. it’s also got a comfortable grip that makes me thoroughly enjoy writing with it. brings me a lot of satisfaction with how clean it writes and how fast the ink dries.
