Plank+Beam Solid Wood Full Size Platform Bed Frame, Matte Walnut

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was disappointed in your platform bed The bed arrived in a long thin box, and inside were the various pieces of wood. Not being a do-it-yourself person with confidence, I hired, paid a handyman to assemble the wood We were both surprised The wood slats which support a mattress, when assembled, leave a very large gap, in our opinion too large. I called to established bed companies, one in New York one in London,. Both stated the same. There must be only 3 to 4 inches gap in between this kind of bed. Anything more will eventually cause mattress sag, and sink in between the large gap which your bed comes with. My handyman purchased another six wood struts to add to your 6, totalling 12 This left the required 3 to 4 inches space. He then screwed this into your bed frame giving more stability to your bed. All that I said is common knowledge and anything less is unsatisfactory. I was unaware from your photos that you had chosen this option, do you state this choice. I know budgets are a big thing but it is shame when such choices are made, I believe Also the finish to the wood is rather amateurish, it looks as if a person dipped a brush in some paint and paint which has not much substance for maintenance. Had the handyman not been involved I would have asked you to collect that box full of wood implemented

It's a nice looking bed frame, but the right wood plank on the long side of the frame split after just 10 weeks (I weigh 140 lbs)

Really nice bed frame. Feels good to buy something that I know is better for me & the environment. It is sturdy and modern.

I was expecting heavier wood. It looks like the picture. If you're looking for a bed in a guest room, this is excellent but for my teenage son I don't know how long it will last.

Solid bed, easy to put together. The slats are clearly visible with new full size Casper mattress on it.

Bed itself is nice. But unfortunately the slats are too skinny and too far apart. I tried sleeping in it,and was very uncomfortable. I will have to go to a hardware store and buy ply wood to put across it so I can actually sleep in it. My mattress is still on the floor til then. It's ashame that they invested so much in the bed,but then just gave up when it came to the slats.

Well made and easy to install. I wish you had better headboard options but we will just purchase that some where else.

Very pleased! The order came quite quickly and was exactly as described. Color was perfect and matches the desk in the room. Assembly went smoothly with 2 of us working together as a team!

Looks great, fairly easy to put together, seems to be good quality.
