Chili tastes great. 5 star for taste. As for a lot of things in WFPB, it would be outstanding 5 star if there was some slightly chewy texture to it. This comes from consuming the chili straight out of the box. I would imagine it to be 5 star if served as part of a bigger recipe and I'll certainly be using my second box with that in mind. I'll be ordering more for sure

Plantstrong chilli's are my go to when I want to just eat quickly for dinner. I'm not food obsessed, an athlete, eat plant based and busy. After just a couple minutes in a pot on the induction burner and I'm eating dinner. So much better than normal store bought soups and chili's with way to much salt, oil and even sugar!? These work great for camping too from a box in the trunk to quick meals. The original is still my favorite of all the flavors but I do like the variety available.

I decided to try one of the sampler packs. The firehouse chili was definitely my fave! I don’t really enjoy cooking and lots of days dealing with a chronic condition makes it difficult to do. This chili was packed with veggies and flavor. It really fills in the gap for me when I have rough days. So good I have a hard time not eating it!

I love this chili. It's got the perfect blend of spices and is not too spicy-hot. It's great as is, or as a base to add more beans, corn and whatever else you might want. Serves well with any grain or potatoes etc. I've got this convenient gem of a meal on auto ship, yes, it's that good.

Unfortunately I couldn’t eat it. It had no flavor at all, except it was hot- not in a nice flavorful way where you could taste the peppers- just hot. And rather bitter. I thought it would be a great choice for an easy quick plant based meal. I asked for a credit and instead of someone asking why or acknowledging my experience, or even offering an exchange, I just got a, “No.”. I like to add a can of pinto beans to it and stretch out the heat of the jalapeños. It’s very flavorful and makes a quick lunch. I’m new to PlantStrong and am having urges for the old ways. Like cheese, sour cream and avocado slices. You see as I feel better it will be easier to chop a few scallions and enjoy the flavors for their purity as I did today.

Many years ago Wendy's had a taco salad I use to love but of course completely unhealth. I can make my version of that dish with baked tortilla chips topped with this chili, cilantro/lime cashew cream, pickled jalapenos, a bunch of veggies and sprinkle with nutritional yeast. Yummy!!!
