Poor Design
This is a poorly designed drainer. It is difficult to properly hold thick dishes or anything large. The silverware holder is great for silverware of you stand up pieces as you put them in. If you place just one or two they will fall over or lay down inside. The holder needs a taller divider. Also you can only place tall items in the holder, like spatulas, long large stirring spoons, wooden spoons or large knives if there are enough other items to hold the tall ones up, or they fall out completely as the holder isn't deep enough for them. All around, it isn't great for everyday dishes if you cook at home and need something for all the things.

It's a good product!
I'm very satisfied with this dish rack. I usually put away dishes after washing and drain out any excessive water. So it helps keep clean without any mold. I put something underneath on one side for easier drainage. I can stack my plates with ease and I like the one-piece design, not to mention the excellent good price. I'm happy with this purchase.

This is a quality made white plastic dish rack that fits atop the mat I got!
Again, I was happy that I didn't get a dishwasher in my new studio apartment as I am old-fashioned and don't mind washing my dishes. I previously bought a disk rack/mat set from the dollar store and used it until I moved to this studio ... then it was tossed. I appreciate using a better quality product. This white dish rack has functioned well and the only improvement I might suggest is the grooves for the dishes should have a few wider openings - like maybe twice the width or 2.5x wider. I have some ceramic cat dishes that are kind of thick. But I can still stack them against another smaller width dish for support. This is working perfect for my use and counter space!

Poor design
Why would this not have holes or slits in the bottom of each compartment for the water to drain out? The utensil compartment is poorly designed...the flatware will not stand upright. Do not put any heavy glasses on the sides they will fall off. I miss the old style dish drainers. The one I had started to yellow after... my guess would about 6 to 8 years.
